La Française Real Estate Partners – Agnès Riban joins as senior investment manager for value-add and opportunistic acquisitions for French and foreign institutional customers. Riban has worked for Carlyle Group and LaSalle Investment Management.
ATP – Lars Gjørret has started work as property investment manager at ATP Real Estate, a subsidiary of Danish pension fund ATP. He joins ATP after eight years at PensionDanmark, where he was most recently project director specialising in residential developments. Gjørret’s main responsibility will be to execute a new residential strategy and to work on property development more generally.
BMO Real Estate Partners – Assia Amore has been appointed European transaction manager in Paris. Amore was previously a senior researcher at CBRE Global Investors covering France, Italy and Belgium. She has also worked for BNP Paribas Real Estate as a senior investment analyst.
AMP Capital – Andrea McElhinney has been named as investment director within social and aged care infrastructure in Sydney. McElhinney takes over from Julie-Anne Mizzi, who will retain overall accountability for the fund. McElhinney joined AMP Capital in 2010.
Apache Capital Partners – Former Grosvenor managing director Mervyn Howard has been appointed chairman at the private London and Middle East real estate investment management firm. Howard, who spent 12 years at Grosvenor before establishing his own real estate advisory boutique in 2013, will support Apache founders John Dunkerley and Richard Jackson in developing the business.
Segro – Gerald Corbett has been appointed as a non-executive director. Corbett will join the Board on 1 March and succeed Nigel Rich as chairman on 22 April. Corbett has been a director of 12 public companies, six of which he has chaired. His executive career included periods as finance director of Redland and chief executive of Railtrack. He is currently chairman of Betfair, Britvic and Numis Corporation.
Colliers International – Carole Ouden has been appointed as a senior consultant in Amsterdam, Katerina Erbenova as an associate in Prague and Anna Warlow senior portfolio manager in London. Warloe joins from BAE Systems, while Ouden joins with more than 17 years’ experience in real estate solutions, project management and process management. With the firm for three years, Erbenova will take on the role of an associate within EMEA Corporate Solutions.
