Triuva – Wenzel Hoberg is replacing Steffen Ricken as CEO and will leave the role at the end of next month. Hoberg, who left Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in 2014, has also worked for Unibail-Rodamco. Former Allianz Real Estate manager Stefan Brendgen has been named chairman of Triuva’s supervisory board, replacing Oliver Priggemeyer. Truiva is the new name for IVG Institutional Funds.

AFIAA – The Swiss Foundation for International Real Estate Investments has appointed Dino Christoforakis as acquisitions manager North America in New York. Prior to joining AFIAA Christoforakis was a senior investment associate with MCB Real Estate. He has also worked for J Street Companies and Concord Eastridge.

Thor Equities – David Burke has been recruited as director of asset management. Burke will head the asset management division of the firm’s UK office in London. He was previously head of European asset management at Fidelity’s Pembroke Real Estate and has also worked for Maybook Properties, Fortress Investment Group and London & Regional Properties.

Kempen Capital Management – Daan van Aert has joined as head of non-listed real estate. Van Aert has been with Kempen & Co since 2014 and has also worked for Algemene Pensioen Groep (APG).

QICEric Belman has been appointed to the global infrastructure team. Based in New York, Belman will lead infrastructure origination, investment and execution efforts in North America. Prior to joining QIC, Belman was managing director of business development for GE Power and Water.

Dune Real Estate PartnersJulie Brenton and Eric Calder have been promoted to partners. Brenton joined Dune in 2014 as a managing director and head of investor relations. Prior to joining Dune, Brenton was a managing director at Ranieri Real Estate Partners. Calder was previously a member of Goldman Sachs’ Real Estate Investment Banking Group.

Aquila Group – Bjoern Meyer has been appointed team head with responsibility for the company’s wind power and photovoltaic plants. Meyer has previously worked for banks, project developers and a utility company.

HIG CapitalGraham Emmett has been named managing director in the real estate team, based in the firm’s London office. Emmett was previously an investment partner at Cheyne Capital. Prior to Cheyne, he was a partner at ICG Longbow. David Hunter is stepping down from his role as senior adviser. Hunter said the new HIG debt business will be in direct competition with ICG Longbow, of which he is chairman. He was appointed senior adviser for European real estate last year. Hunter, who set up his own independent real estate advisory company in 2005, was once managing director of Aberdeen Asset Management’s property fund business and president of the British Property Federation in 2004.

Internos Global Investors – Alexandru Gavriliu has been appointed by the firm in Germany. Gavriliu, previously at ECE, will manage the German shopping centre fund.

Wüest & Partner – Andreas Pörschke has been appointed head of real estate consulting. Pörschke, who will focus on institutional German and international clients, was previously at KPMG in Frankfurt.
