Prologis – Ben Bannatyne is replacing Philip Dunne as president for Europe. Dunne, who joined Prologis Europe in late 2008 as chief operating officer and interim chief financial officer, became president in 2009. Bannatyne, with Prologis for seven years, will take on the new role in January. He is currently managing director for Central and Eastern Europe. Before joining Prologis, he was managing director for JLL in Central Europe. Bannatyne role as regional head for Central and Eastern Europe will be taken by senior vice president Martin Polak, currently manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Joseph Ghazal has been promoted to managing director and chief investment officer for Europe. Thomas Karmann becomes managing director and region head for Northern Europe.
AXA Investment Managers – Sébastien Herzog has been named global chief finance officer, chief operating officer and corporate secretary at AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets. Based in Paris, Herzog has been global head of internal audit at AXA IM since 2012, having originally joined the company in 1998 as a corporate finance manager. Bertrand Loubières has been named head of infrastructure finance. He will head a team of five infrastructure specialists and joins from BNP Paribas, where he was head of a specialised product group. Prior to BNP Paribas, Loubières worked in the securitisation team at Morgan Stanley.
MaxCap Group – Drew Bowie has been named New South Wales investment director. Bowie will be responsible for portfolio management and the firm’s pipeline of transactions. He will also sit on MaxCap’s audit, risk and compliance committee and report to chief investment officer, Brae Sokolski. Bowie has also worked for Royal Bank of Scotland, First Australian Capital and Macquarie Bank, managing commercial real estate equity and debt investments.
Palmira Capital Partners – Marion Schwarz has joined the management board. Schwarz was previusly head of portfolio controlling at Fortress Germany Asset Management.
JP Morgan Asset Management – Claudius Weissbarth has been named executive director for European client strategy at JP Morgan’s global real assets group. Weissbarth will be based in London. He was previously a director at BlackRock Real Estate and has also worked for Forum Securities and Citigroup Property Investors.
CBRE Global Investment Partners – John Went has been named as senior legal counsel. Went joins from legal firm Clifford Chance in January.
AnaCap Financial Partners – Michael Edwards, COO and Amber Hilkene, head of investor relations, have been promoted to partners. Hilkene joined AnaCap in 2006, while Edwards has been with the firm since 2007.
Bayside Capital – Graham Emmett is joining the firm from Cheyne Capital.
