UBS Asset Management, Union Investment, Citycon, LGIM, M7 Real Estate, LondonMetric, Tennessee CRS
Union Investment Real Estate – Martin Brühl has been promoted to the board of the Hamburg-based real estate investment manager. He replaces the departing Heiko Beck. All management relating to the firm’s real estate division will next year fall under the remit of Reinhard Kutscher, chairman of the management board. A new department will handle international real estate investment, to be managed by Brühl and also takes charge of fund management.
UBS Asset Management – Paul Guest has been appointed executive director and lead real estate strategist. Guest joins following four years at LaSalle Investment Management, where he was regional director of research and strategy for Asia Pacific. He has also worked for JLL, Moody’s Investors Services and Bank of Nova Scotia.
Citycon – Marianne Håkonsen has been appointed vice president for marketing and branding and member of the firm’s corporate management committee. Håkonsen will take her position immediately and be responsible for leading marketing and branding activities.
LGIM Real Assets – Tony Doherty has been named head of product development, replacing Dan Batterton who has moved to the new role of Build to Rent fund manager. Prior to joining LGIM Real Assets, Doherty spent 15 years at Schroders Investment Management.
M7 Real Estate – Eduardo Craveiro Lopes has been appointed as senior asset manager for Portugal. Craveiro Lopes previously worked as a senior asset manager at Portuguese residential asset manager Construmed. He has also worked for Teixeira Duarte Imobiliária and JLL.
LondonMetric – Andrew Smith has joined the company’s executive committee and been appointed as a strategy director. Smith joined LondonMetric in May last year from British Land, where he worked for nine years as a senior member of the retail team and head of investment portfolio management.
Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System – Derrick Dagnan has been hired as deputy CIO and Stephen Wright has been named senior investment analyst in the fund’s real estate team. Wright recently joined the Treasury Investments staff and was previously at PriceWaterhouse in Dallas.
