Global Infrastructure Partners – Tufan Erginbilgic has joined the firm as a partner. Erginbilgic joins GIP from BP, where he worked for over 20 years, most recently as CEO of BP’s downstream segment, which includes BP’s global fuels, lubricants, and petrochemicals businesses. Erginbilgic joined BP in 1997 after seven years at Mobil Oil Company. He held leadership positions in several different BP businesses, including its retail operations and BP’s lubricants division. From 2007-2009, Erginbilgic was chief of staff to the BP Group CEO. He was appointed COO in 2009 and then CEO of BP downstream in 2014. At GIP, Erginbilgic will work with investment and operating teams to create investment opportunities by developing new strategic partnerships. He will also work with GIP’s portfolio companies to maximise value by improving the efficiency of their operations and delivering top quality customer service.
StepStone Real Estate – Margaret McKnight has been appointed as a partner to focus on the firm’s advisory, secondaries and co-investment practices. McKnight is based in San Francisco. Prior to joining StepStone, McKnight was the co-CIO and head of the Americas for Carlyle’s metropolitan real estate investment management arm. Previously, McKnight was a consultant at Cambridge Associates, where she began the real assets consulting practice, and was a real estate investment professional at JP Morgan.
ARA Venn – The investment manager has appointed Oriane Auzanneau director and deputy portfolio manager to lead the firm’s loan investments for its social housing strategy. Auzanneau joins from M&G Investments, where she spent 12 years involved in corporate lending and was a director in the social housing team.
Corestate Capital – René Parmantier has been appointed chairman of the management board (CEO) with immediate effect and for a term of 3 years. For the past twelve years he has been CEO of Oddo Seydler Bank. The previous chairman of the board, Lars Schnidrig, has also been appointed CFO with immediate effect and a term of 3 years. Schnidrig already held this position for Corestate in 2017 and 2018. Nils Huebener and Daniel Loehken remain on the management board as CIO and chief legal and HR officer respectively. The originally designated CEO Klaus Schmitt will not take office on 1 January 2021.

Greenbyte – The provider of renewables asset management software has appointed Jenny Rexed as CFO. Having led the financial reorganisation at SaaS e-commerce platform Jetshop, Rexed brings substantial experience to Greenbyte’s next phase of growth.
Norton Rose Fulbright – Stephen Natoli is joining the law firm as construction and infrastructure partner in Australia. Natoli joins from national law firm Holding Redlich, where he has been a partner since 2013, as well as head of the firm’s construction practice. Prior to that, he worked at Allens in Australia and Mayer Brown in London. He joins Norton Rose in the Melbourne office early in the New Year.
