DWS – Matthew Abbott has been appointed as director of coverage for EMEA real estate to lead institutional capital raising, business development and investor relations for the firm’s real estate platform across the region. Abbott joins from L&G Asset Management, where he served as head of client development managing institutional client relationships, and previously held the role of real estate specialist at Aon. In his new role, he will support DWS’s target of scaling its platform and deepening client engagement across EMEA, focusing on co-mingled funds, separate accounts, and co-investments across core, value-add equity and real estate debt strategies.
Quinbrook – Tim Horneman has been appointed regional leader for Australia to lead the firm’s Australian investment team and business operations. Horneman joins from APLNG, where he served as chief financial officer and deputy CEO, and previously held the role of head of strategic partnerships and investment management at Origin Energy. With more than 20 years of experience, he also spent several years managing large-scale energy and infrastructure investments, where he established a track record across project development, financing, construction and operations. In his new role, he will support Quinbrook’s target of driving its next phase of growth and expanding its activities across Australia, focusing on delivering the infrastructure needed for the energy transition.
DigitalBridge – Brent Mayo has been appointed as managing director of investment management for data centres to lead the firm’s origination, evaluation and management of global data centre investments. Mayo joins from Newmark, where he served as head of data centres, leading the capital markets practice, and previously held the role of associate at DH Capital. In his new role, he will support DigitalBridge’s target of expanding its digital platform and executing complex data centre transactions as global demand for AI-driven compute capacity accelerates. Nicholas Beatty has been appointed as operating partner for energy transition to lead the firm’s electrification initiatives and renewable energy strategy. Beatty joins from Zenobē Energy, where he served as a founder director, and previously held the role of head of corporate finance at BNP Paribas in London. In his new role, he will support DigitalBridge’s target of capitalising on opportunities at the intersection of digital infrastructure and energy transition, focusing on transport infrastructure and battery storage solutions.
Grosvenor — Mie Caroline Holstad and Guillaume Cassou have been appointed as non-executive directors of Grosvenor Diversified Property Investments to lead the firm’s international diversification strategy. Holstad joins from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, where she serves as a senior advisor, and previously held the role of chief investment officer for real assets at Norges Bank Investment Management. In her new role, she will support Grosvenor’s target of growing the business with an ambition for it to account for more than a quarter of the group’s balance sheet, focusing on global real estate investment, capital markets and sustainability. Cassou joins from KKR, where he serves as a senior advisor to the European real estate business having previously been partner and head of European real estate, and previously held roles at Goldman Sachs. In his new role, he will support Grosvenor’s target of growing the business with an ambition for it to account for more than a quarter of the group’s balance sheet, focusing on global real estate investment, capital markets and international diversification.
Longpoint Partners – Gijs Vissers and Benedict Stichel have been appointed as country heads for the Netherlands and Germany, respectively, to lead the firm’s expansion and investment strategy across these two key European logistics markets. Vissers joins from Stoneweg, where he served as head of transactions Benelux and country lead. He previously held leasing and capital markets roles at JLL and Cushman & Wakefield. Stichel joins from Eastdil Secured, where he spent five years advising on €3.6bn of transactions, and previously held the role of investment manager at Palmira Capital Partners. In their new roles, they will support Longpoint Partners’ target of deploying approximately €400m into infill logistics assets near major population centres and transportation corridors, focusing on properties suited for adaptive reuse, physical repositioning, and development strategies across high-demand locations such as Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and the Randstad.
Acore Capital – Cynthia Holahan has been appointed as chief marketing officer to lead the firm’s global marketing strategy, brand positioning, investor communications and business development marketing. Holahan joins from Ninety One, where she served as head of marketing for North America, overseeing brand positioning, corporate communications, public relations and channel marketing across the US and Canada. She previously held the role of head of institutional, private wealth and EMEA marketing at OppenheimerFunds, and spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs, where she established a track record as vice president of marketing and communications within the asset management division. In her new role, she will support Acore Capital‘s target of driving growth and expanding its global brand presence.
Montagu Evans – John Weir has been appointed head of planning to lead the department’s next phase of growth, taking up the role in October 2026. Weir will succeed Craig Blatchford, who will remain with the business to continue advising clients after a seven-year tenure leading the team. Weir joins from The Church Commissioners for England, where he served as head of real assets. He previously held client-side and consultancy roles across the public and private sectors. In his new role, he will support Montagu Evans’s target of helping clients navigate fast-moving and challenging market conditions, focusing on building and strengthening the department and championing a client-centric approach.
Canyon Partners Real Estate – Scott Swisher has been appointed as managing director and head of western region credit originations to lead real estate credit origination efforts in the western US. Swisher joins from ACORE Capital, where he led regional credit efforts. In his new role, he will support Canyon’s target of expanding its sourcing network and structuring creative capital solutions as activity grows across its lending and opportunistic investment businesses. Adam Ostrowsky has been appointed as managing director of capital markets to oversee capital markets initiatives across the platform. Ostrowsky joins from Mack Real Estate, where he managed capital markets strategies. In his new role, he will support Canyon’s target of backing expanding lending and investment activities as the firm scales its real estate platform nationwide. Scott San Filippo has been appointed as senior director of bridge debt to support the continued expansion of the firm’s bridge lending platform throughout the US. San Filippo joins from Heitman, where he focused on debt originations. In his new role, he will support Canyon’s target of positioning the team to capitalise on transitional debt opportunities. Spencer Schlee has been promoted to managing director and head of opportunistic equity to oversee the sourcing and execution of opportunistic equity investments nationwide. Schlee transitions from his previous role as managing director at Canyon Partners Real Estate. In his new role, he will support Canyon’s target of scaling its equity platform and driving growth across its opportunistic investment business.
Brookfield Real Assets Income Fund – Aaron Greenberg has been appointed as portfolio manager for the securitised credit allocation to lead the sub-adviser Oaktree Fund Advisors’ responsibilities in managing the fund’s securitised credit strategy. Greenberg joins from Oaktree Fund Advisors, where he served as a managing director, and has additionally been named portfolio manager for the real estate debt strategy and co-portfolio manager for the structured credit business. He previously held the role of secondary trading desk head at Deutsche Bank, having started his career as a CMBS trader at Morgan Stanley. In his new role, he will replace Justin Guichard to support Brookfield Real Assets Income Fund’s target of managing its securitised credit allocation while working alongside co-portfolio managers Gaal Surugeon, Chris Janus and Riley O’Neil, focusing on the day-to-day management and strategic asset allocation of the fund.
Rgreen Invest – Ronald Gaultier has been appointed as senior investment director to lead the firm’s strategy to further develop its infrastructure debt activity, taking up the role with immediate effect. Gaultier joins from Sienna Investment Managers, where he spent the past five years focusing on developing high-yield strategies dedicated to the energy transition, and previously held the role of fund manager at Allianz Global Investors. With over 17 years of experience in European infrastructure finance, he also spent his early career in project finance advisory at PwC. In his new role, he will support Rgreen’s target of strengthening its expertise in Europe’s lower mid-market segment and financing the energy transition, focusing on backing the companies and infrastructure assets driving electrification and decarbonisation.
Knight Frank – Tim Robinson has been elected as UK managing partner to lead the firm’s long-term UK strategy, taking up the role in April 2027. Robinson will succeed Stephen Clifton, who will retire from the partnership in March 2027 after 27 years with the firm, having been appointed UK managing partner in 2025 following a seven-year tenure leading the firm’s commercial division. Robinson joins from his current role as head of commercial at Knight Frank, where he oversaw the business through challenging market conditions, delivering record revenue and profit while growing high-value consultancy and annuity income streams. With over 30 years of experience at Knight Frank, he has established a strong track record of commercial leadership and transformation. In his new role, he will support Knight Frank’s target of driving the strategic direction, governance and performance of its home market, focusing on overseeing its residential and commercial operations across 79 offices nationwide and chairing the UK board.
Cliffwater – Sean Brenan has been appointed as head of real estate and portfolio manager of Cascade Real Assets Fund to lead the firm’s private real assets platform as it expands its capabilities in real estate, infrastructure, and other real assets sectors. Brenan joins from Goldman Sachs, where he served as global head of the real estate secondaries, primaries and co-investment platform, overseeing investment activities for one of the largest real estate secondary fund programs. He previously held leadership and investment positions across his more than 16 years of real estate experience. In his new role, he will support Cliffwater‘s target of growing its newly filed evergreen Cascade Real Assets Fund, focusing on leveraging the firm’s private markets infrastructure.
Keepmoat – Martyn Grimes has been promoted to director of land and partnerships for the West Midlands regional office, where he will oversee driving acquisitions, strengthening partnerships, advancing local opportunities and supporting organic growth. Grimes transitions within the company from his previous role as head of land and partnerships, which he took up in 2024. Emma Urie has been promoted to sales director for the West Midlands regional office, where she will oversee sales across a portfolio of developments including Mill Place in Upper Tean, Stallings Place in Kingswinford and Sketchley Meadows in Nuneaton. Urie transitions within the company from her previous role as head of sales, where she served for two and a half years.
Cameron Stephens Mortgage Capital – Steve Cameron has been appointed president and CEO to lead the firm’s unified strategic vision across both its mortgage and equity capital platforms. Cameron joins from his previous role as president and chief operating officer within the same company. He previously held the role of vice president when he first joined the business in 2011. In his new role, he will support Cameron Stephens’s target of scaling with discipline across institutional capital markets, mortgage origination and equity development, focusing on capital preservation and investing in talent and technology. Scott Cameron has transitioned to the role of executive chairman, where he will remain actively engaged in credit oversight, investment committee leadership, and investor relationships. Cameron co-founded the firm in 2004 and previously served as president and CEO. He joins from MCAP prior to co-founding the business, where he served as a senior executive. In his new role, he will support Cameron Stephens’s target of sustaining its long-term growth and platform stability, focusing on strengthening the firm’s most important institutional investor relationships.
