CenterSquare Investment Management — Nevin Torres has been appointed senior vice president in the capital markets team to lead business development and institutional fundraising efforts for the firm’s public and private real estate strategies in the US. Torres joins from 1315 Capital, where she served as head of investor relations, and previously held the role of executive director of business development at CIFC Asset Management. With extensive experience in client service and institutional fundraising, she also spent several years as a wealth manager at Bank of New York Mellon. In her new role, she will support CenterSquare’s target of matching investment solutions to institutional needs and driving growth across its global real estate platform.
Realterm — Nidhya Ramasubbu has been appointed vice president of capital markets for Europe to lead institutional capital raising across the firm’s investment funds, co-investments and ventures. Ramasubbu joins from UBS Asset Management, where she served as executive director of business development, and previously held the role of vice president of business development at PGIM Real Estate. With more than a decade of experience, she also spent several years at DWS in the global client group, establishing a track record in capital raising across core, core-plus and value-add strategies. In her new role, she will support Realterm’s target of strengthening its investor coverage and scaling its pan-European portfolio.
Kayne Anderson Energy Infrastructure Fund — Michael J Hennigan has been appointed as an independent director to support the firm’s board and enhance its ability to capitalise on evolving energy infrastructure opportunities. Hennigan joins from Marathon Petroleum Corporation and MPLX, where he served as executive chairman until his retirement in 2025, and previously held the role of president of crude, NGL and refined products at Energy Transfer Partners. With several decades of leadership experience, he also spent more than 30 years at Sunoco, where he established a track record in refining and midstream operations, ultimately serving as president and chief executive officer of Sunoco Logistics. In his new role, he will support Kayne Anderson Energy Infrastructure Fund’s target of delivering long-term value for stockholders by investing in energy infrastructure companies across North America.
Andover Real Estate Partners — Griffin Hoffmann has been appointed principal and head of acquisitions to lead the firm’s national investment strategy. Hoffmann joins from HPP Real Estate, where he served as partner and head of acquisitions, overseeing a portfolio of more than 1,500 multifamily units. He previously held the role of head of acquisitions and development at Somerset Partners/SAM. In his new role, he will support Andover Real Estate Partners‘s target of scaling its portfolio to 10,000 units over the next five years, focusing on value-add multifamily investments in high-growth markets.
Greystar — Mohamed Kchia has been appointed as managing director for the Middle East to lead the firm’s investor relationships and assess opportunities to establish its operating platform in the region. Kchia joins from Tishman Speyer, where he served as managing director of Middle East client coverage, and previously held various positions in acquisitions, development and investor relations across New York, Paris, London and Dubai. In his new role, he will support Greystar’s target of providing broader access to its global platform and expanding its presence in the Middle East.
Morgan Properties — Devang Patel has been appointed as head of technology to lead the firm’s enterprise technology strategy and oversee the digital transformation of its national multifamily platform. Patel joins from the financial and investment services sector, where he served in leadership roles across infrastructure, delivery and operations, and previously held positions overseeing large-scale transformation initiatives for direct-to-consumer and retirement platforms. In his new role, he will support Morgan Properties’ target of scaling its operations and enhancing the resident experience through the adoption of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and data analytics.
Benenson Capital Partners — Richard Kessler has been appointed CEO to lead the firm’s strategic direction, investment activity and day-to-day operations. Kessler transitions from his previous role as chief operating officer at Benenson Capital Partners, a position he held since 1998, and has been with the firm since 1978. During his nearly five-decade tenure, he has held leadership roles across development, finance and acquisitions, and has been responsible for completing billions of dollars in real estate transactions. In his new role, he will support the firm’s target of guiding its next phase of growth while maintaining its long-term ownership approach across its portfolio of more than 130 properties.
Venn Partners — Claudiu Gheorghita as managing director to lead the firm’s commercial real estate lending business. Gheorghita joins from Investec, where he held a senior origination role, and previously served as chief investment officer at Hilltop Credit Partners, where he led the development finance team. With over 15 years of experience, he also spent almost a decade at Macquarie focusing on UK and European lending before joining Nomura as an executive director to spearhead direct lending origination. In his new role, he will support Venn Partners‘s target of broadening its commercial real estate platform.
Vigam AB — Fredrik Kronström has been appointed as director of investments and capital raising to lead the establishment and future development of the company, with a focus on residential property portfolios across Sweden’s major metropolitan areas. Kronström joins from Rothschild & Co, where he was a member of the Nordic real estate advisory team, and previously held positions at Pareto Securities, Catella, and Vasaparken. In his new role, he will support Vigam AB’s target of becoming a leading specialist platform in Swedish real estate investments.
White & Case — Nick Rainsford has been appointed partner in the global mergers and acquisitions practice to lead infrastructure and private capital transactions across London and EMEA. Rainsford joins from Baker McKenzie, where he served as partner, overseeing infrastructure and energy mergers and acquisitions. With over 20 years of experience, he has established a track record advising on transport, fibre, waste-to-energy, renewables and district heating projects. In his new role, he will support White & Case‘s target of expanding its global M&A practice and strengthening its offering to infrastructure funds, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds as part of a wider strategic growth initiative.
The LK Group — Giovanni Smanio has been appointed director of the structures division to lead the expansion of the firm’s UK operations and strengthen its structural engineering function. Smanio joins from B&K Hybrid Solutions, and previously held roles delivering structural solutions across residential, commercial and historic building schemes. With more than 12 years of experience and six years’ post-chartership, he has established a track record in integrated technical delivery across diverse property sectors. In his new role, he will support The LK Group’s target of growing its structural capability and enhancing project delivery on major national schemes, including Eden Project Morecambe and Soapworks.
NEST — Stephen O’Neill has stepped down as head of infrastructure and natural capital following a 17-year tenure at the UK pension fund. O’Neill previously served as head of private markets from 2019 to 2025, where he led the defined contribution pension scheme’s expansion into illiquid asset classes, including real estate and infrastructure. A recruitment process for his successor has commenced.
MT Finance — Charlie Gregory has been appointed as business development manager to lead the further expansion of the firm’s lending operations and nationwide broker network. Gregory joins from the specialist finance industry, where he held key business development roles at several prominent firms. Throughout his career, he has established a track record in fostering intermediary relationships and delivering solutions across residential and commercial bridging, as well as buy-to-let mortgages. In his new role, he will support MT Finance’s target of enhancing its service offering and scaling its presence within the bridging market by leveraging his technical knowledge of complex lending criteria.
