IFM Investors – Scott Mosely has been appointed as head of real estate to oversee the firm’s real estate portfolio. Mosely joins from Mirvac Group, where he served as CEO of funds management, and previously held the role of lead for Lendlease Investment Management. In his new role, he will support IFM’s target of protecting and growing the long-term retirement savings of working people, focusing on positioning the portfolio for resilience and performance while unlocking value across key sectors and markets.
British Land – Joanne McNamara has been appointed as CEO to drive the business forward and build on the platform for growth. McNamara joins from Oxford Properties, where she served as executive vice president, Europe, and previously held positions at Hammerson. With over 20 years’ experience, she also spent 16 years at Oxford Properties, where she established a track record by overseeing significant investment and development transactions and building a European portfolio. In her new role, she will support British Land’s target of delivering and managing best-in-class places across the UK, focusing on executing the company’s long-term growth strategy.
Aware Super – Mathieu Elshout has been appointed as head of international while also continuing to lead on the European property strategy, as senior portfolio manager, property UK to provide experienced operational leadership for the fund’s London office. Elshout transitions within Aware Super, where he previously served as head of European property, having joined the firm in 2024. In his new role, he will support Aware Super’s target of globalising its investment capability.
ULI – Edward Siskind has been appointed as European chair and global board member to lead the institute’s regional strategy and governance. Siskind is founder and CEO of Cale Street Partners and previously held the role of global head of the real estate principal investment area at Goldman, Sachs & Co. With over 35 years of experience, he also spent 23 years at Goldman, Sachs. In his new role, he will support ULI‘s target of advancing the institute’s mission across Europe, succeeding Anne Kavanagh.
JLL – Rui Diogo has been appointed as head of Spain and Portugal hotel transactions, capital markets, where he will lead the hotel capital markets business across Spain and the Iberian Peninsula. Diogo transitions within JLL, where he previously served as a director within the London and Madrid hotel capital markets teams, having joined the firm in 2017. In his new role, he will support JLL’s target of growing its hotels and hospitality platform across the Iberian Peninsula, focusing on complex hotel portfolios, luxury hotel assets and cross-border M&A transactions.
INREV – Jerome Berenz has been appointed as a management board member to support the association’s governance and regional strategy. Berenz transitions within INREV, where he previously served as a member of the investor advisory council, and currently holds the position of head of indirect investments at PIMCO Prime Real Estate. In his new role, he will support INREV’s target of advancing the association’s mission and supporting non-listed real estate investors across Europe, focusing on contributing to institutional activities, events and training courses. John O’Driscoll has been appointed as a management board member to support the association’s governance and regional strategy. O’Driscoll transitions within INREV, where he previously served as a member of the fund management advisory council, and currently holds the position of global co-head of real estate at BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts. In his new role, he will support INREV’s target of advancing the association’s mission and supporting non-listed real estate investors across Europe, focusing on contributing to institutional activities, events and training courses.
HighBrook Investors – Claiborne Johnston has been appointed as partner and global head of private capital markets to lead fundraising, capital formation and investor relations efforts. Johnston joins from Morgan Stanley, where he served as a managing director within the real assets investment management business, and previously held the role of associate within the firm’s real estate investment banking group. With over two decades of experience, he also spent more than ten years at Morgan Stanley, where he established a track record in private capital solutions for real estate private equity sponsors. In his new role, he will support HighBrook Investors’s target of continuing growth across the US and Europe, focusing on expanding the firm’s investment activity and deepening relationships with institutional investors globally.
Savills – Aleksandra Mazzini has been appointed as head of investment, Poland to lead the investment platform in Poland and oversee the further growth of the business. Mazzini joins from Balmain Group, where she served as chief operating officer and previously held positions at Goldman Sachs. With vast experience in capital markets, asset management and transactions, she also spent several years at Balmain Group, where she established a track record by overseeing a portfolio across CEE. In her new role, she will support Savills’s target of strengthening its CEE cross-border capability, focusing on local leadership in Poland to support regional market dynamics. Mark Richardson has been appointed as head of cross-border transactions CEE to focus primarily on transaction activity and investor relationships in Poland alongside a cross-border remit across the region. Richardson transitions within Savills, where he previously served as a director within the investment team, having joined the firm in 2023. In his new role, he will support Savills’s target of taking capital into Western Europe and the UK, focusing on close collaboration with investment teams across CEE and the firm’s global cross-border network. Aleksandra Karczewska has been appointed as associate director, investment to support transaction activity and investor relationships. Karczewska joins from Colliers International,where she served within the investment team. In her new role, she will support Savills’s target of expanding its investment platform in Poland, focusing on combining international reach with deep local market knowledge.
YOTEL – Paul Harnedy has been appointed as chief operating officer to oversee global hotel operations and commercial strategy across city centre hotels, airport hotels and flexible, extended stay properties. Harnedy joins from Cedar Capital Partners, where he served as executive vice president and head of asset management, and previously held the role of chief operating officer at Amaris Hospitality. In his new role, he will support YOTEL’s target of tripling its portfolio by 2031, focusing on building the operational and commercial capability needed to support disciplined, sustainable growth across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. Michael Whitehead has been appointed as senior vice president, people, talent & learning to lead the global HR function, focusing on employee engagement, organisational development and learning and development. Whitehead transitions within YOTEL, where he previously served as a vice president within the human resources team, having spent seven years with the business. In his new role, he will support YOTEL’s target of reaching 100 hotels open and signed worldwide by 2031, focusing on building the operational capability needed to support disciplined, sustainable growth. Ryan Dance has been appointed as senior vice president, commercial strategy to oversee the integrated commercial strategy across revenue management, sales, marketing, commercial operations, and digital and ecommerce. Dance transitions within YOTEL, where he previously served within the commercial leadership team. In his new role, he will support YOTEL’s target of driving sustainable global growth, focusing on building the commercial capability needed as the brand expands in both new and existing markets.
