TIAA Henderson Real Estate has appointed David Turner as head of European investment.
Turner, an internal recruit, replaces Anthony Butler, who is leaving the company. Butler, who set up and ran TIAA’s European platform, left this month after six years with the firm.
TH Real Estate said Turner will focus on implementing TIAA-CREF’s European real estate investment programme as it looks to grow its existing £2.3bn portfolio.
Previously fund manager for Herald - TH Real Estate’s European Retail Fund - Turner joined TH Real Estate in 2009.
He is currently fund director of both Herald and TH Real Estate’s European Outlet Mall Fund (EOMF).
Prior to joining TH Real Estate, he was fund manager for the €1bn Cornerstone Nordic Retail Fund.
