People moves: Tan to spearhead Generali expansion in Asia

Generali Real Estate – Andy Tan has been appointed head of operations in Asia. Tan, who will oversee new investments and property enhancement, was executive vice-president at MEAG Pacific Star Asset Management. He has also worked for GIC, the government of Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund.

M&G Real Estate – The company has appointed eight new members of staff. Rupert Milne, Chris Poole, Chris Bonner, Kannika Mall and Kylie Bentham have been appointed as asset managers, while Jonny Davies and Chris Jeffs have joined as investment managers. Will Gerrish has been appointed as retail development manager. Bentham joins from Fairacre, having previously worked for DTZ and Custodian Capital. Bonner moves from Mapeley Estates. Milne has arrived from Cluttons, and Poole joins from Knight Frank. Mall joins from CBRE, while Gerrish moves from Bouygues Construction. Davies and Jefåfs have moved from DTZ and BNP Paribas, respectively.

AMP Capital – The company has made two appointments to its infrastructure equity team in New York. Michael Hamilton has been appointed investment director and will focus on sourcing deals and managing assets in the Americas region. He was previously a managing member at Blue Wave Capital Partners. Andrew Kirby has been appointed senior associate and will focus on transaction support and execution activities. He was previously an associate at Rothschild.

Grainger – Derek Gorman has been recruited as managing director of market rented assets. Gorman, who will join in January next year, was most recently chief executive of Get Living London.

CBRE Global Investors – Marius Schöner has been named country manager for Germany. Schöner joins from BlackRock and has also worked for Morgan Stanley’s open-ended funds business, as well as Deka Immobilien.

TIAA Henderson Real Estate – Emilie Ciuntu has been appointed as director of business development. Ciuntu joins TH Real Estate from CBRE Global Investors, where she spent 10 years, most recently as a senior director. She has also worked for Morgan Stanley.

Internos Global Investors – Alex Mattey has been appointed senior manager of investor relations. Mattey joins from Clearbell Capital (formerly Mountgrange).
