Stone Estate Swiss Management – The Swiss real estate investment company has appointed Alastair Manning as managing director and head of asset management with immediate effect. His primary focus will be the management of Stone Estate’s existing portfolio as well as targeting new investment opportunities. Manning joins from Pears Global Real Estate Investors where he served as head of asset management, overseeing a pan-European portfolio of commercial and residential assets. Whilst at Pears, he worked across multiple markets in Europe, overseeing portfolios and originating deals in Germany, Denmark, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. Prior to this, Manning was partner at a boutique real estate asset management firm based in Zurich where he was responsible for the management of the Swiss commercial portfolios of private and listed real estate investors. He has also held roles at various real estate advisory and investment businesses, including King Sturge in the UK and Italy, and Cushman & Wakefield in Italy.
Commerz Real – Henning Koch has been appointed as a member of the company’s management board. Henning Koch has been with Commerz Real since 2017. Prior to this, he was head of acquisition and sales Europe at Credit Suisse from 2013 onwards. Through to 2006 he worked in various departments at the real estate service provider Savills in Frankfurt am Main and London.
Peakside Capital Advisors – Simon Lutz has been appointed partner. Lutz is responsible for acquisitions and the investment management of assets in Germany, working from the Frankfurt office. Nikhil Gupta will also be promoted to managing director. He is head of portfolio management and responsible for the portfolio management of the Peakside Real Estate Fund series. Prior to joining Peakside in 2010, he was part of the M&A team at Rothschild & Co Investment Bank in Paris. In addition, Maximilian Baumann and Julian Hilbert were appointed associates. Both work in the Frankfurt office.
Bondstone – The Portuguese private equity real estate investment and asset management firm has hired António Dias as its CFO. Dias joins Bondstone, which launched in February, from MarginKey, a Portugal-based consulting firm focused on small and medium-sized enterprises, in which he was a founding partner and CEO. He previously served at Portuguese private equity firm Oxy Capital. During his career, Dias has served in various roles in corporate finance and in the private equity industry, namely as CFO at Bright Partners, as part of the investment team at 3i Group and as an associate at Millennium BCP bank, after starting his career at Iberian law firm Garrigues.
