Delancey — The UK property investment manager has appointed Lesley Davison as managing director of capital markets to lead its credit and debt strategy. Davison rejoins Delancey in March 2026, having previously spent 14 years at the firm as director of banking and treasury. She joins from Telford Homes, where she was chief operating officer, and previously served as chief investment officer at Seaforth Land. In her new role, she will oversee lending and borrowing activities and support new investment mandates following the firm’s recent launch of bridging finance platform AlbionArc Capital. During her career, she has also held positions at GoSpace AI.
Hines — The US-based global real estate investment manager has appointed Brendan O’Regan as head of investment for Ireland to reinforce its commitment to high-growth opportunities in Europe. O’Regan joins from Irish Life Investment Managers, where he served as head of property funds and oversaw real estate investment strategies. In his new role, he will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities across all sectors in the Irish market as the firm targets a 70% year-on-year growth in its investment pipeline. He previously held positions at the National Treasury Management Agency, AIB, Savills and JLL.
DWS — Ben Taylor has been appointed as head of real estate, Australia for DWS, where he will lead the firm’s Australian transactions function. Taylor joins from The Living Company (previously Scape), where he served as fund manager, and previously held the role of director of housing at Nuveen. With nearly 20 years of experience, he also spent several years at AXA Investment Managers, where he held senior roles in Sydney. In his new role, he will support DWS‘s target of expanding its real estate footprint across the Asia Pacific region.
Slättö — The Nordic-focused private equity real estate investor has appointed Laura Barstow as managing director of capital formation to support growing international investor interest in the region. Barstow joins from Brookfield and Nuveen, where she held senior roles during an 18-year career in private markets. In her new role, she will establish a permanent presence for the firm in London to manage relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and insurers. She previously held positions at various leading global managers across value-add, opportunistic and debt strategies.
Lucerne Capital Management — The US-based investment firm has appointed Frank Austin as portfolio manager to lead its newly launched US farmland investment strategy. Austin joins from Clear Frontier, where he served as partner and investment director overseeing an irrigated organic farmland portfolio. In his new role, he will manage the firm’s inaugural farmland fund, Rubicon I, which is housed within a dedicated investment pod named Bramble Run. He previously held positions at Arbor Nutrio and Rothschild & Co.
LBP AM — The French asset manager has appointed Alexander Schäfer as investment director to lead its new Frankfurt office and expand its European private markets platform. Schäfer joins from H&A Global Investment Management, where he served as investment director for private debt and established origination networks across Germany and the Netherlands. In his new role, he will focus on corporate direct lending and identifying investment opportunities within the German market, building on the firm’s existing 10-year track record in infrastructure debt. He previously held positions at Riverbank and Société Générale.
Lincoln Property Company — The US-based real estate firm has promoted Emily Johnson Moghadam to head of lease administration and compliance and appointed David Arwady as head of project management within its corporate advisory and solutions platform. Moghadam, who joined the firm in 2008, will oversee lease transactions and healthcare regulatory adherence, including Stark and Anti-Kickback compliance. Arwady joins from CBRE, where he led national project teams and managed large-scale capital programs across lab, industrial and corporate sectors. He previously held positions at various firms over a 30-year career in programme management and governance.
JLL Australia — Selina Short has been appointed as chief executive officer for Australia and New Zealand. Short joins from EY, where she served as clients & industries managing partner and a member of the Oceania executive leadership team, and previously held the role of Oceania leader for the built environment and resources practice at EY. She also spent nine years at the Champions of Change Coalition. In her new role, she will support JLL Australia‘s target of driving growth and enhancing client service across the ANZ region.
Thriving Investments — Ed Crockett has been appointed as fund manager for the £260m New Avenue Living fund, where he will oversee the platform’s essential worker housing strategy across Scotland and Manchester. Crockett joins from Europa, where he served as head of investment execution, and previously held the role of director of operational capital markets at Savills UK. With over 20 years of experience, he also spent 15 years at Aberdeen, where he established the UK residential investment business. In his new role, he will support the firm’s target of reaching 20,000 homes by 2030.
Symphony Towers — The Palistar Capital affiliate has appointed Jason Hirsch as president and chief operating officer. Hirsch joins from American Tower Corporation, where he spent 25 years, most recently as senior vice president of corporate real estate and investment support services. In his new role at the White Plains-based firm, he will lead day-to-day operations and strategy for the cell site acquisition platform. He succeeds David Bacino, who has transitioned to the role of vice chairman at Symphony Towers.
Galaxi Towers — Palistar Capital has appointed David Bacino as chief executive officer of its recently formed wireless solution developer. Bacino, an operating partner from Palistar Capital, previously served as CEO of Symphony Towers. In his new position, he will lead the firm’s efforts in developing bespoke macro wireless solutions for national carriers while continuing to support Symphony as vice chairman.
Border to Coast Pensions Partnership — Alistair Smith has stepped down as head of real estate and fund manager after nearly four years with the LGPS pool. During his tenure, Smith oversaw the significant expansion of the firm’s property platform, including the July 2025 growth of the UK real estate main fund to approximately £1.6bn in assets under management. Smith joined from Aberdeen Standard Investments, where he served as head of property investment management for the global real estate business following the merger of Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life Investments. Throughout his 30-year career, he has held senior roles at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and The Premier Property Group.
