Heitman – The global real estate investment management firm has appointed Charles Robinson EMEA client service and marketing managing director. Prior to joining Heitman’s global client service and marketing group, Robinson led institutional business development efforts across international markets for fixed income specialist Shenkman Capital. He also previously served as the MD and head of EMEA for BlackRiver Asset Management and as the global head of alternatives at HSBC Global Asset Management. Prior to HSBC, he worked in Hong Kong and New York for Goldman Sachs and began his career at JP Morgan.
Avignon Capital – The European property investment and asset management firm has appointed Andrew Lambert as asset manager for its Dutch portfolio. Lambert will be managing all regional assets and focusing on developing strategies to add value to the existing portfolio. Prior to joining Avignon, Lambert spent almost six years with UK property company TCN UK where he was director of asset management. Before that, he was an associate director at CBRE, where he was responsible for the delivery of asset services to clients with a portfolio value of £2bn across the UK, covering all property sectors.
Legal & General Capital – The early-stage investment business of UK insurer Legal & General has appointed Jasan Fitzpatrick managing director of its principal investment strategy. The principal investment strategy involves investments in venture capital and SME finance; build to rent and affordable housing. Fitzpatrick has been employed by LGC since July 2018, when he joined from CALA Group. With over 20 years’ experience across the property and investment sectors, Fitzpatrick was general counsel and company secretary at Premium Credit and general counsel and company secretary at Northern Rock, prior to his role at CALA Group.
ICG-Longbow – Jai Patel has joined Intermediate Capital Group’s real estate division as head of development finance to spearhead the residential-led strategy. The business has also appointed Nicholas Black, as a director, to lead the asset management of this growing strategy. Patel joins from Amro Real Estate Partners, where he was investment director responsible for acquisitions, capital markets and investment underwriting. He previously worked at ICG between 2014 and 2017. Black joins from Buro Four, a project management consultancy where he was a director responsible for the hospitality, leisure and mixed-use sectors.
Stanhope – Stuart Grant, who joined the real estate developer as managing director in September 2018, is leaving the company in the summer. The former Blackstone partner is leaving to set up CoreLife Investors, a new real estate investment and asset management business.
CoreLife Investors – Graham Stanley, the founder of real estate private equity firm Moorfield and a former Blackstone JV partner, has joined the new real estate investment and asset management business as chairman and strategic advisor.
Greenman – The specialist real estate and investment fund manager has appointed Moritz Lind to the role of head of portfolio. He will lead Greenman’s portfolio team based in Berlin in order to support expansion of the German portfolio. Prior to Greenman, Lind was with JLL Retail Asset Management and from 2013 until acquisition by JLL in 2016 with Acrest Property Group in Berlin. He has also worked with Savills in Frankfurt and Berlin dealing with transactions and asset management.
Domicil Real Estate – Holger Lueth has been appointed CFO. Lueth was most recently CFO at Gateway Real Estate. Prior to this, he acted as managing director corporate finance and investor relations at Buwog where he was responsible for key capital markets and financing transactions. Lueth joins the board of management of Domicil Real Estate.
