Azimuth Global Partners – Chris Nash, until recently director of institutional business at M&G Real Estate, has joined the Kuala Lumpur-headquartered business as a partner based in London. Nash, who joined M&G in 2011, will be responsible for sourcing and managing real estate assets for clients at Azimuth.
AEW Europe – Patrick Meutermans has joined as head of Belgium and the Netherlands. Meutermans was country manager for Belgium at CBRE Global Investors. The move follows the acquisition of a €1.3bn portfolio by AEW Europe and China Investment Corporation from CBRE Global Investors. Meutermans was responsible for managing some of the assets in the portfolio.
Baytree Logistics Properties – The logistics and industrial development platform launched by AXA Investment Managers has appointed François La Rochefoucauld as development director for France. He was previously head of logistics business Sofade.
CBRE Global Investors – Piet Van Poppel has been promoted from transactions manager to country manager in Belgium. Van Poppel, who has worked at the company since 2005, replaces Patrick Meutermans.
AMP Capital – David Kenny has been appointed investment director within the infrastructure equity Australia and New Zealand funds team. He joins from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, where he was general manager of business development in Chile.
MaxCap – The Australian real estate debt investment manager has hired Brett Corfield for the newly created role of chief risk officer. Based in Melbourne, Corfield will monitor the risks of investments made across the business.
