CatellaXavier Jongen, previously director of Bouwfounds’ European residential funds business, has joined Catella to launch a new European residential platform. Jongen joins the board of Munich-based Catella Real Estate.

Real IS – The German manager has created a Global Investment Management & Solutions (GIMS) department for all foreign investments, with Christoph Wendl appointed manager. Frank Teupe remains head of investment management in Germany.

Thor Equities – Luke Condon has been appointed executive director of European investments. Condon, who spent 15 years at Knight Frank, most recently as partner and head of international investment for France, will oversee transactions in London, Paris, Milan and Madrid.

Logicor – Anthony McCluskie has left M&G Real Estate, where he was associate director, to join Blackstone’s European logistics platform. McCluskie joins the UK team as an asset manager.

Corestate CapitalKwok Mun Cheong has been appointed regional head of capital raising and client relations in Singapore. Cheong was previously responsible for marketing and investor relations at CapitaLand and was previously managing director of Raffles City China Fund Management. Also in Singapore, John d’Abo has been named regional head of Asia Pacific. He was previously managing director of investment banking and head of ECM Asia for RBC Capital Markets in Hong Kong.

UBS Global Asset Management – Oliver Abram has joined the firm’s UK real estate business in London. Abram will focus on investment acquisitions and asset management in the UK and report to Howard Meaney, head of global real estate for the Triton Property Fund. Abram joins from Knight Frank Investment Management.

BMO Real Estate Partners – Adrien Brion has been named European portfolio manager and associate director in the firm’s Paris office. F&C REIT, which manages €6.9bn in assets, rebranded to BMO Real Estate Partners this year.

HenleyTom Tippetts has been appointed managing director of Henley Camland. Previously director of land at Places for People, Tippetts has also held positions at Cofton Group, David Wilson Homes and Beazer Homes. He will now lead Henley Camland, a joint venture between Henley and placemaking and infrastructure firm Camland Projects.

Goodwin ProcterJames Spence has been promoted to partner in the firm’s London office. Spence, a member of the firm’s real estate capital markets group, joined Goodwin Procter in 2013.
