JP Morgan Asset Management – Rossano Nonino has been appointed CIO and head of real estate in Brazil. Nonino will be based in São Paolo and manage eight staff. He will report to Kevin Faxon, head of real estate for the Americas. Rossano founded Gávea Real Estate, the real estate investment arm of Gavea Investimentos, in 2012.
TH Real Estate – Allegra Corrù has joined the Milan office as a junior portfolio manager, reporting to Mario Pellò, head of Italian investment. Corrù worked at Generali for the CityLife development project in Milan.
ULI Europe – Jon Zehner, global head of the client capital group for LaSalle Investment Management, has been appointed chairman of the institute, replacing Roger Orf. Emmanuel de Lanversin, director general of SemPariSeine, has been appointed as the next chair of ULI France. Lanversin succeeds Sigrid Duhamel, country manager for France at CBRE Global Investors.
Segro – Soumen Das has been appointed CFO. Das is managing director and CFO at Capital & Counties Properties. He is expected to join Segro in 2017 and will succeed Justin Read, who is retiring. Das has also worked for Mountgrange Investment Management and UBS.
CBRE Global Investors – Bas Tiemstra has been promoted to the newly created role of director of EMEA investment operations. Tiemstra joined the company last year as head of asset management for EMEA retail. He has also worked for ASR Real Estate Investment Management as a managing director of commercial real estate and as fund director for the firm’s Dutch prime retail fund. Jirka Lhotak has been appointed CFO for the EMEA. Lhotak joined in 2006 and, since 2012, has been CFO of European shopping centre funds and the EMEA retail portfolio. Dennis Van Vugt has decided to step down from his position as CFO and COO of EMEA next month.
Cording Real Estate Group – Andrew Eeles and Caroline Murphy have been appointed assistant building managers in the UK. Eeles will be responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of Cording’s properties in Manchester. Murphy will be responsible for managing The Anchorage in Salford. Prior to joining Cording, Eeles worked for Capital Properties, while Murphy was at Interserve.
