People moves: Hoare leaves Citi for debt role at CR

CR, Citi, Altus Analytics, MSCI/IPD, IFM Investors, Hastings Funds Management, Catella, Capita, HSBC Bank, Infracapital, Electricity North West

CR – Stuart Hoare has been hired from Citi as managing director and head of its new debt and equity placement services. Hoare spent 17 years as a director within Citi’s European real estate finance team. Hoare’s division will lend to private investors and large institutions, as well as assist lenders in syndication. Transactions will start from €5m and range from mortgage financing to multi-tranche offerings, and equity participation.

Altus Analytics – Davide Manstretta has been appointed vice-president of Data and Analytics. Manstretta has joined the newly formed analytics arm of the Altus Group. He will be based in London. Manstretta was previously head of portfolio and risk analysis at MSCI/IPD, leaving the firm earlier this year after 12 years.

IFM Investors – Joseph Braun has been named associate director for North American debt investments. Braun was most recently an associate director at Hastings Funds Management. Prior to that, he held positions at RBC Capital Markets and BBVA.

Catella – Henrik Gripenvik and Henrik Holmer will take over the management of the Catella Reavinstfond fund, while Martin Nilsson and Holmer will simultaneously take over responsibility for management of the Catella Småbolagsfond fund. The teams will replace Mikael Hanell.

Capita Real Estate Finance – Edward Aldwinckle has been appointed as director of its real estate finance business, joining from HSBC Bank.

Infracapital – Steve Johnson has been appointed asset management director at the infrastructure investment arm of M&G Investments. He joins from Electricity North West, where he served as chief executive for eight years.
