PGIM Real Estate – David Fassbender has been appointed to a newly-created role of deputy head of Asia-Pacific. Fassbender, currently head of Japan, has been with PGIM Real Estate for over two decades. In his new role he will oversee portfolio management strategies in Asia-Pacific and help drive the firm’s growth in the region and continue to lead its largest Asia-Pacific business in Japan. He was instrumental in establishing PGIM Real Estate’s flagship Asia-Pacific value-add fund series, and will retain his current role as senior portfolio manager for the strategies.

NISTA – The National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority has appointed Becky Wood as its new chief executive officer. Formally launched at the beginning of this month, NISTA will look to fix the foundations of UK’s infrastructure system by bringing strategy and delivery under one roof, addressing the systemic delivery challenges that have stunted growth for decades. With extensive experience in infrastructure leadership, particularly in the UK transport and international sectors, Wood will bring significant expertise, skills and knowledge to the role. Wood is currently a partner at the consultancy firm EY, and prior to that was a commercial adviser at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority. For 10 years Wood oversaw major infrastructure developments at the Department for Transport, serving as the senior responsible officer for the Crossrail, Thameslink and Intercity Express programmes. She also has valuable international experience, having worked on significant infrastructure programmes in public and private sectors in Australia and New Zealand.

Principal Asset Management – Julien Jaoui and Léa Peyran have joined the firm as business development director and business development manager, respectively, in the distribution team in France. Jaoui and Peyran bring with them a wealth of experience and relationships in the Société Civile de Placement Immobilier market, with 15 and 13 years of experience, respectively. Before joining Principal, both Jaoui and Peyran worked at Praemia REIM. Jaoui was most recently a manager in retail business development, responsible for the development of strategic partnerships with the distribution channels. Peyran was a distribution relations manager in the retail division, where she developed new partnerships with distributors and managed ongoing relationships.

ColliersMiro Karttunen has been appointed managing director of Colliers in Finland, effective 1 August 2025. This leadership transition follows Ari Vanhanen’s announcement of his intention to retire as CEO of Finland. Vanhanen remains with Colliers in Finland as an advisory board member until the end of 2025 and will support Karttunen during the transition. Karttunen will join the leadership team of Colliers’s Nordic region and working closely with his counterparts in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, will have the strategic remit to expand property management services across the Nordics. Karttunen previously spent 13 years at Newsec Property Asset Management, where he most recently served as managing director, concentrating on developing the company’s Nordic strategy, enhancing employee engagement and advancing the operational development of strategic accounts. At CapMan Real Estate, Karttunen led the operational strategy for residential funds in the Nordics.

Yareal PolskaPaulina Petynka has been appointed leasing director. Petynka will be responsible for developing leasing strategies for office and retail spaces in Yareal Polska’s portfolio, including in particular the LIXA campus and the SOHO by Yareal mixed-use complex. Prior to joining Yareal Polska, Petynka worked as associate director, landlord representation office department at Colliers for seven years. Before that, for almost two years, she was employed as leasing manager at Metro Properties. In addition, for 12 years, Petynka was responsible for commercial space lease at Centrum Zana, an office space developer.

Cushman & WakefieldMatthew Bouw has been appointed APAC and EMEA CEO. Bouw will oversee a single operating model across both regions, providing the scale and balance of services to drive growth and offer clients better global connectivity and access to talent. Bouw’s experience includes leading the APAC region as CEO since 2017. During his 13 years with Cushman & Wakefield, he has also held global executive positions based in the Chicago office, including global chief administrative officer and global chief HR and strategy officer. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he worked in a variety of industries and for several large global companies, including PwC, Aviva, Orica, Leighton and UGL. Bouw will relocate to London to focus on the growth of both regions.

PanattoniAlexandre Daoud has been appointed to lead the firm’s capital raising in the Middle East. Daoud will be in charge of capital formation and deployment for Panattoni’s expanding logistics investment pipeline across the UK, Europe, Saudi Arabia and India. Based in Panattoni’s Dubai office, he will report to Artur Mokrzycki, head of capital markets Europe. Daoud joins Panattoni from JLL, where he spent nearly 10 years and most recently served as head of international capital coverage, Middle East and North Africa.

Impact Community CapitalAndrew Zimmerman has been promoted to managing director, investments. In his new role, Zimmerman will oversee the firm’s investment strategy, deal sourcing and execution. Zimmerman joined the firm in 2014 and has been a driving force behind several of the firm’s most complex and successful initiatives. He has played a key role in developing innovative vehicles that align with investor needs, including the firm’s collaboration with Freddie Mac on the first Q series issuance, bringing the liquidity of agency financing to a wider range of affordable multifamily lenders and properties. Before joining Impact Community, Zimmerman worked for Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management, where he evaluated equity real estate and fund investment opportunities. Zimmerman also previously worked for Piper Jaffray in the public finance group where he structured municipal bonds for a variety of issuers across western US.

Dupré LogisticsChris Sower has been appointed interim CEO, succeeding Mike Weindel. Sower brings over 25 years of experience in supply chain logistics and has served in leadership positions at companies similar to Dupré that are essential to the movement of goods in the US.

Patron CapitalHenry Randolph has been appointed real estate credit partner. Randolph joins from CBRE, where he was a senior director in the capital advisers’ lending platform, originating, underwriting and executing a wide range of senior real estate investment and development loan facilities primarily in the UK. Prior to this, he worked at Barclays in the property debt finance team and has 15 years of industry experience.

Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe REIMPeter Pohlschröder has been appointed managing director for HAL Data Center Development, the newly created German data centre investment platform. Pohlschröder is also co-head of digital infrastructure at Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank. He has over 20 years of experience in the property sector, ranging from portfolio and asset management of mixed-use commercial properties to project development of critical infrastructure. Most recently, he was a member of the management board of Garbe Industrial Real Estate. Since the beginning of 2021, he has also been involved as deputy chair of the German Data Centre Association. In addition to Pohlschröder, Patrick Brinker, head of HAL REIM, and Piet Wienke, co-head of digital infrastructure investment at HAL REIM, will take over the management of HAL Data Center Development.
