Valor Real Estate Partners – Vincent Lampe has been appointed German investments senior vice president. Based in Berlin, Lampe will lead Valor’s investment activities in Germany, with a focus on prime urban logistics submarkets in Germany’s Top 5, as well as other strategic supply-constrained regions. Lampe joins Valor from Prologis, where he served as capital deployment director, managing acquisitions across Germany and leading its market rollout in Berlin. Prior to Prologis, he worked on value-add transactions at Patrizia.
CBRE – The firm’s APAC hotels and hospitality arm has promoted Andrew Hunter to senior director, while Mark Hahm has joined as an associate director. Hunter, based in Singapore, will collaborate with CBRE’s global, APAC, and local hotels teams to enhance cross-border hotel investment opportunities. He will focus on client engagement to drive deal distribution and provide essential hotel market intelligence to empower clients in their real estate investment strategies. Hahm, based in Seoul, joins from JLL where he held a senior role managing hotel transactions. He will focus on enhancing transaction execution capabilities within Korea.
CenterSquare Investment Management – Kristina Harshany has been promoted to chief marketing officer. In this expanded role, Harshany will continue to be responsible for the development and execution of CenterSquare’s marketing, communications and brand strategy, and will now also assume responsibility for investor relations initiatives across the firm’s real assets platform. Harshany most recently served as the global marketing director of the asset management business for SEI Investments, and before SEI, was a SVP of the Financial Intermediaries Group of Citibank.
Pluto Finance – Stephen Ryan has been appointed lending director for Wales. Ryan brings nearly 30 years’ commercial banking experience and has a track record of supporting and enabling residential and commercial development projects. His most recent role was at Principality Commercial, where, for more than eight years, he focused on helping Welsh residential developers secure funding to deliver housing across region. Prior to this, Ryan held senior positions at Handelsbanken, Santander and Allied Irish Bank.
Oparo – Graham Martin joins the firm as CEO. Martin takes over from Babak Gharbi, who will now serve as non-executive chairman, continuing to guide the company’s strategic vision following its inception in 2018. Martin brings over 30 years of international expertise in restructuring, corporate turnaround, and financial advisory, with notable stints at KPMG and PwC.
Praxis – Andrew Lunt hss been appointed managing director of Praxis Facilities Management. Lunt was previously managing director at Atlas Workplace Services where he held the position of group head of services.
Bouwinvest – Jeroen Reijnoudt, former principal portfolio manager at MN Services, has been appointed head of Dutch transaction management and development. Reijnoudt will assume responsibility for all aspects of Dutch real estate transactions, including sourcing, delivery, development, redevelopment and sales when he takes on the role in May. At MN, where he worked for 15 years, Reijnoudt managed real estate portfolios across North America, Europe and the Netherlands.
Principal Asset Management – The asset manager has appointed Richard Hill from Cohen & Steers to head global real estate research and strategy at firm. Hill, who joined Cohen & Steers as head of real estate strategy and research in September 2022, will now lead the $100bn Principal Real Estate’s global real estate research team, providing clients with the firm’s economic and real estate insights. With 24 years in the industry, Hill’s experience includes more than nine years at Morgan Stanley, where he oversaw commercial real estate research, covering real estate investment trust equity, commercial real estate debt and macro property analysis, prior to his tenure at Cohen & Steers.
