Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Vincent Jean-Pierre will lead the newly expanded Northern Europe region, which combines the shopping centre owner’s UK, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden operations. Jean-Pierre, a 20-year company veteran who most recently led the offices and mixed-use development division, will be supported by a regional management team comprising: Geoffrey Deshayes in Amsterdam, managing director of asset management; Jacinta Rowsell in London, managing director of customer and retail operations; Louise Haffenden in London, managing director of people; and Samuel Renoux in Stockholm, CFO Northern Europe. Jean-Pierre’s appointment follows the previously announced departure of former UK COO Scott Parsons, scheduled for the end of March 2025.

CIM GroupJason Vassiliades has joined the firm’s infrastructure investments team as managing director. Before joining CIM Group, Vassiliades served as managing director at Duration Capital, a transportation infrastructure investment firm that was founded in 2024 as a spin-out from Oaktree Capital. At Oaktree, he was a managing director holding several key positions overseeing various infrastructure programs. He also founded the Transportation Innovation Group at Oaktree, which invested in and partnered with infrastructure-related technology companies. Earlier in his career, Vassiliades led multi-billion-dollar real estate and infrastructure projects internationally in the UAE and contributed to economic development initiatives across the Balkans, Caucasus and Central Asia.

Amro PartnersElisabetta Li Destri Nicosia has been promoted to managing director for ESG and sustainability, responsible for delivering Amro’s ambitious climate agenda and working closely with its investor partners to align capital with its ESG commitments. Nicosia joined residential living specialist Amro Partners in 2022 as director for sustainability and ESG. In her new role, she will lead on delivering the firm’s ambitious climate agenda across the UK and Europe, working in close partnership with investors to ensure joint projects achieve the highest possible ESG standards.

ExchangeRight – Jason Roland has been appointed SVP of the Mid-Atlantic region. In his role, Roland will oversee client relationships and strategic development initiatives across Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia. Roland brings extensive expertise in client relations and strategic growth, with over 15 years of experience in the alternative investments and securities industries. 

StonewegGeert Steenland has been appointed head of asset management, Benelux. He will oversee all asset management initiatives, including leasing, capital expenditure, maintenance, and development. Steenland joins the Benelux management team, where he will contribute to the strategic direction and growth of Stoneweg’s presence in the region. Before joining Stoneweg, Steenland spent eight years at M7 Real Estate in various leadership roles, most recently as head of asset management Netherlands. Prior to M7, he worked at Vastint.

Feldberg CapitalReiner Beckers has been appointed managing director – business development. Most recently, Beckers served as managing director – real assets at Edmond de Rothschild, where he was responsible for capital raising across real estate, real estate debt and infrastructure. Prior to that, he led product development, distribution, and marketing as head of business development at Cording Real Estate Group. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions in capital management and business development at MGPA, UBS Global Asset Management and Henderson Global Investors.

Plenary Group — Paul Crowe will succeed David Lamming as group chief executive officer, effective from 1 July.  Currently Plenary’s chief investment officer, Crowe joined as an associate in 2005. Lamming will remain with the business, as a member of the group board, as chair of Plenary Middle East and as a board member of the UK and Europe business.  

ESRBrett Robson has been appointed senior adviser to a consortium of global investors which is privatising the Hong Kong-listed firm. The consortium is led by Starwood Capital Group, Sixth Street and SSW Partners and  also includes QIA, Warburg Pincus and ESR founders. Robson most recently served as global head of Macquarie Asset Management Real Estate. He joined Macquarie in 2003 and over his tenure served in several leadership capacities, including head of its global real estate investment banking business, as a member of the executive committee, and chair of the  firm’s real estate investment and management committees, in addition to serving on numerous real estate funds’ investment committees. Prior to Macquarie, Robson spent over 11 years at LendLease, where he held senior roles covering real estate funds, asset and development management. Robson was appointed non-executive director of Investa Management Holdings in August 2024 and elevated to chair in December 2024. 

JLL – Richard Booth remains as head of investor clients for the UK & Ireland. Christian Luft steps into the newly created role of head of investor sector strategies and REITs for the UK & Ireland. Luft brings outstanding sector expertise and valuable EMEA-wide insights, having most recently excelled as EMEA retail lead for value & risk advisory. Christian Moore transitions from his leadership role in JLL’s Irish business to become investor services delivery lead. James McTighe steps up to lead JLL’s lender strategy across the UK and Nordic regions. Vivin Harsanto will become head of growth, executive director, JLL Indonesia. In this newly-created role, she will remain responsible for strategic consulting and will report to Farazia Basarah, country head, JLL Indonesia. In her almost 30 years in commercial real estate, Harsanto has worked in a variety of roles for the firm in Indonesia, most recently as head of advisory. Concurrently, Panji Aziz has been appointed as head of tenant representation. Aziz has extensive experience and knowledge of the Indonesian national office leasing industry, He has 15 years of experience and has held numerous roles in the tenant representation space.

Garbe Industrial Real EstateTom Herrschaft has been appointed head of real estate management. He will be in charge of five regions with six branch offices in Germany. His most recent job was head of retail at Commerz Real and he managed a global portfolio. Before that, he held senior position at Hudson’s Bay Company/Galeria Kaufhof and also served as a member of the supervisory board of Galeria Logistik. Herrschaft began his career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. 

TriGranitMarta Zawadzka has rejoined the company as head of leasing and asset management. Returning to TriGranit after nearly a decade, Zawadzka will oversee leasing activities for key projects, including Signum in Warsaw and Bonarka for Business in Kraków, while also supervising leasing strategies across TriGranit’s broader portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe. Zawadzka most recently was leasing and asset management director at Yareal, where she was responsible for leasing office and retail spaces. Before that, she held leadership roles at Avestus Real Estate, Neinver, Kulczyk Silverstein Properties, GTC and TriGranit itself.

Nuveen Real Estate – Chad W Phillips is to replace Chris McGibbon as global head of real estate. Phillips will be responsible for $141bn (€130bn) in commercial real estate equity and debt investments in 22 countries. He is taking over immediately from McGibbon who is retiring after nearly 25 years of service. Phillips will also chair the Nuveen Real Estate global executive leadership team, which oversees the platform’s strategic initiatives. He joined Nuveen in 2019 and most recently led a global team of sector specialists focused on workplace, healthcare, retail and mixed-use investments. McGibbon will remain with the firm until his retirement on 30 June 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.

KintyreRobert Orr has been appointed chair of the advisory board. His career includes 29 years at JLL, where he served as CEO of EMEA for seven years and was a member of the main board of the firm. His leadership experience extends to corporate finance, real estate investment, and strategic advisory roles across Europe, including positions at Canaccord Genuity, M&G Real Estate and EQT Real Estate Partners. Most recently, Orr was chair of APCOA Parking and Tritax Eurobox until both businesses were sold last year.

RedevcoSimon Marx has been appointed head of research. He will be based in Redevco’s London office and will report directly to Veronica Gallo-Alvarez, head of investment management. In his new role, Marx will lead the development of forward-looking, data-driven insights into the real estate market to guide both internal decision-making and external positioning and will ensure the firm’s strategic direction is grounded in robust analysis and market intelligence. Before joining Redevco, Marx served as head of research at Lothbury Investment Management. He also holds various positions at Bayes Business School, Henley Business School, and the Association of Real Estate Funds. Marx brings experience in UK and continental European research and strategy, having held positions at LaSalle Investment Management, CoStar, Experian, CBRE and EY. 

Quadrant  – Kylie Phillpotts has joined as partner, and in the UK real estate asset manager’s Central London team, Dan Hart has joined as associate partner. Phillpotts will be responsible for executing development and asset management strategies including in the mixed-use and the brown-to-green spaces in London. She joins from M&G Real Estate, where she gained 10 years of experience and was responsible for managing a £600m (€714m) portfolio of City, West End and regional properties. Hart joins from Hines, where he spent nearly four years asset managing many of the company’s UK office properties. In Quadrant’s retail team, Sara Feeny and Richard Hutchinson join as partners. Feeny joins from LaSalle Investment Management, where most recently she was responsible for managing multiple retail properties and asset transactions for a number of funds, having joined the firm as a graduate in 2003. At Quadrant she is working on retail park portfolios. Hutchinson joined from Ellandi, where he was a director leading the asset management of several retail parks and shopping centres in the UK. He was at Ellandi, for over 10 years, and also managed the company’s relationship with retailers. At Quadrant, he will work on the firm’s retail and leisure park portfolio including Star City, as well as supporting the identification of new retail park investment opportunities.
