Europa Capital – The pan-European real estate investment manager has appointed Radina Koleva as senior associate, portfolio and asset management. With nearly ten years of experience in the real estate sector, Koleva will primarily be responsible for supporting the asset management of Europa Capital’s open-ended core Europa Diversified Income Fund. Koleva, who will be based in Europa Capital’s Paris office and report to Diederik Bakker, joins from QNB Capital where she was responsible for co-managing a €600m portfolio of core and value-add commercial real estate in France focused on offices, luxury hospitality and industrial. Prior to joining QNB Capital, Koleva was a real estate senior analyst at Resolute Asset Management.
CBRE Investment Management – Jenny Tuleby has been appointed head of transactions and investment operations for the Nordics. Tuleby will be responsible for implementing the Nordics transactions strategy, executing acquisitions and disposals as well as having overall responsibility of managing the CBRE IM Nordics team. Tuleby joins from JLL, where she was senior director in the international capital markets team working on a wide range of international mandates. She joined JLL in 2010, initially in the research team, before joining capital markets where she spent multiple years working across sectors.
BNP Paribas Real Estate – Harry Douglass has been appointed as director within the alternatives markets team as BNPPRE expands its hotel valuation and consultancy capabilities across the UK and Europe. Douglass joins from HVS London where for over 10 years’ he focused on valuations, acquisitions, sales and lettings of hotels, serviced accommodation and leisure investment property throughout EMEA. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Meininger hotels, Edward Symmons and Sanderson Weatherall. Harry’s new role will see him join the hotels team led by Richard Talbot-Williams and Jonathan Parrish as it bolsters its valuation offer. This follows BNPPRE’s wider successes across residential capital markets in BTR, Student Living and Healthcare & Senior Living as these sectors become increasingly operational and strategic in approach.
Schroders – Yossi Kraemer has joined Schroders’ RF business, an alternative real estate lending platform, as head of distribution. Schroders RF, a joint venture between Schroders and RF CorVal, a Sydney-based real estate investment firm, was set up last year. Kraemer was till recently head of institutional capital with Qualitas. Kraemer previously worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London as head of real estate capital markets and syndications in Europe and has held senior roles at Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas.
CBRE – The global real estate advisor has appointed Allan Wickham as head of occupier within its ESG consultancy team. Wickham joins CBRE from NatWest Group, where he led the bank’s climate strategy for its global operations. As head of climate and data services, he was responsible for delivering Net Zero Carbon for NatWest’s own operations in 2020 and Climate Positive in 2022, achieving over 70% carbon reduction, delivering renewable energy procurement and power purchase agreements, and establishing nature-based projects to generate carbon credits.
Madison International Realty – The real estate private equity firm has appointed Kenny Moon as managing director to advance the firm’s activities in real estate platform investing. Moon will be based in Madison’s Los Angeles office. Moon will focus exclusively on Madison’s real estate platform initiatives providing growth capital to public and private real estate companies. Moon previously served 12 years with Almanac Realty Investors where his most recent position was managing director. At Almanac, he sourced, analyzed, underwrote and executed entity-level investments into private and public real estate operating companies in the US and Canada, and previously served on the boards of HRIP Holdings and PREP Property Group. Earlier in his career, he held roles at ING Clarion Partners and Citigroup.
Avison Young – Wesley Thomson has joined the firm as UK and Europe ESG director. Thomson will lead Avison Young’s UK and European ESG and sustainability consultancy services, providing strategic advice to real estate investors, lenders and occupiers in areas of sustainable investment, ESG strategy, risk and resiliency. Joining from JLL, Thomson was most recently senior director within the energy & sustainability solutions team, responsible for the EMEA region. Previously, he was senior director at public sector consultancy Guidehouse, and managing director of Thomson International, a boutique ESG sustainability consulting firm.
Built by Nature – The network and grant-making fund with a mission to accelerate the timber building transformation in Europe and the UK has appointed Amanda Sturgeon as its inaugural CEO. Sturgeon joins from Mott MacDonald, where she was the regenerative design and climate change practice lead for the Asia Pacific region. As the former CEO of the International Living Future Institute, based in the US, she spent a decade creating regenerative frameworks such as the living building and community challenge programmes, scaled the organisation globally and created a global movement around biophilic design.
QIC – Nicola Palmer has been appointed as partner in the transport sector, to be based in Sydney. Previously, a partner at Arcus Infrastructure Partners in London for 13 years, Palmer has over 25 years’ experience in the infrastructure sector across Australia and Europe. Her focus is on origination and asset management within the transportation and energy subsectors, together with fundraising.
Knight Frank – Holly Harris has been appointed as an associate to lead on party wall and neighbourly matters. In her new role, Harris will be responsible for advising clients on all party wall related matters including issues relating to boundary ownership and assisting in the efficient and effective development and management of urban sites through party wall surveying and adjoining owner representation. She joins Knight Frank from The Goldsmith Partnership, where she worked as an associate director specialising in party wall issues for clients in both commercial and high-end residential. Prior to this, Harris worked in building consultancy at JLL and in the party wall team at Anstey Horne.
