PGIM, Macquarie, 3i, Cluttons, Capita, CBRE
PGIM – Eric Adler, the CEO of PGIM Real Estate has been named the first chairman of PGIM’s real estate businesses. He will be responsible for the $160bn PGIM Real Estate and PGIM Real Estate Finance businesses. Adler will oversee both the real estate equity and debt businesses of PGIM and be responsible for enhancing the client relations, marketing and operational capabilities for those businesses. He will also remain CEO of PGIM Real Estate. David Durning, the CEO of PGIM Real Estate Finance, will also remain in his current position, reporting to Adler. In addition to Durning’s current oversight of PGIM Real Estate Finance, he will oversee all real estate debt platforms in the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific.
Macquarie – Kit Hamilton and Tim Humphrey have been appointed co-heads of Macquarie Infrastructure Debt Investment Solutions (MIDIS). Hamilton joined of Macquarie’s global infrastructure debt asset management business in 2012 and has been the head of the investment Team since 2015. He joined Macquarie in 2010 as part of the infrastructure debt advisory team within Macquarie Capital after starting his career in infrastructure finance at Dresdner Kleinwort. Humphrey joined MIDIS in 2013 and became the head of the investor solutions team in 2015. Prior to joining MIDIS, Humphrey spent his career working with pension funds and insurance companies across a range of disciplines. James Wilson and Andrew Robertson, co-founders of the MIDIS business and former co-heads will remain involved with the business. Wilson will continue as chief investment officer of MIDIS and chairman of the investment committee. Robertson will assume broader responsibility in Macquarie’s Sydney office. Stephen Allen has joined the MIDIS investment committee following his retirement as chief risk officer of Macquarie Group. Allen was the chief risk officer of the group for eight.
CBRE – Tom Moffat has been appointed executive managing director to lead CBRE’s capital markets business in Asia. In this newly created position, Moffat will assume overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the business.
3i – Anna Dellis and Tim Short have been promoted to partner positions and Ashutosh Agrawal and Gaurav Bhurat have been promoted to director positions within 3i’s £3.4bn infrastructure business. Dellis joined 3i in 2006. She leads asset management for the portfolio of economic infrastructure investments. Short joined the firm in 2007. He leads the team’s debt financing activities as well as covering origination, execution and asset management of infrastructure investments. Both are based in London. Ashutosh and Gaurav currently manage various investments across the power, roads, ports and facilities management sectors. Both joined 3i’s India infrastructure team in 2011 and are based in Mumbai.
Cluttons – Harry Rands and Nick Masters have joined the property consultant’s commercial investment team as an associate partner and senior surveyor respectively. They join from business outsourcing firm Capita.
