Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Peter Durante has been hired as managing director to co-ordinate MIRA’s application of new technologies across its investments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Durante takes up the newly created position in London and joins from Saudi Aramco where he was most recently head of new and emerging technology and market intelligence for renewables.

Gazeley – GLP’s European logistics platform has hired Daan van den Hoven as head of fund management. Based in Amsterdam, He will be responsible for managing the €3.4bn GLP Europe Income Partners I and GLP Europe Development Partners I funds. He was most recently a vice president of transactions in Europe at Prologis.

Cording Real Estate GroupJohn Molloy has joined the asset management firm’s UK private-rented sector team in London. Molloy has been hired as a senior project manager in charge of construction. His responsibilities will include project management of the £40m Saffron Court PRS development in Nottingham. He joins from CRL, where he was a risk management/warranty surveyor.

Octopus Property –  Matthew Pritchard has joined as head of structuring. Pritchard will help support the specialist property lender’s growth plan. He joins from Man Global Private Markets where he spent six years as a portfolio manager and head of the European real estate debt investment team.

CBRE Global InvestorsLogan Werry and Jenny Nygren have been appointed head of asset management and transaction manager, respectively, for CBRE GI’s €1.2bn Nordics portfolio. Werry joins from commercial property investor Unibail-Rodamco where he was senior asset manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of office and retail assets in Sweden and Denmark. Nygren was a director of global portfolio management and investments at Pembroke Real Estate in Stockholm.
