UBS Asset Management – Perry Offutt will join as head of infrastructure in the Americas in June. Offutt will help drive the expansion of the firm’s infrastructure investment activity in the region through its global platform of funds and mandates. He joins from Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, where he was a managing director of the North American investment team, responsible for originating and executing investment opportunities. Prior to this, he spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley. He will be based in New York.
Blackstone – Yan Yan has joined the investment manager’s real estate division in Asia. Yan, who has been appointed managing director, joins from office developer Soho China, where she was a president, CFO and COO. She also previously held various management roles in Henderson (China) Investment and the Sheraton Hotels.
Baytree Logistics Properties – Amit Babbar will join the company on April 23 as UK development director. Based in London, Babbar’s responsibilities will include securing new sites and leading the development of both new and existing projects. He joins Baytree after almost four years at Chancerygate, where he was responsible for sourcing new development opportunities and disposals of both new and existing product. Prior to that, he spent 11 years with Colliers International UK in its industrial team.
Cushman & Wakefield – Emma Swinnerton has been appointed EMEA head of flexible leasing solutions, a region-wide consultancy role focusing on the flexible office and co-working market. Swinnerton, who will join the real estate services firm as an international partner, will provide strategic advice to operators, landlords, investors, and new entrants on how to respond to the changing dynamics of the market. Swinnerton previously worked for Regus as the global commercial director for spaces and new formats.
