DWS – The asset manager has appointed Aleksandra Njagulj as global head of ESG for real estate. Based in London, Njagulj will report to Todd Henderson, head of real estate, Americas, and Clemens Schaefer, head of real estate, APAC and EMEA. She previously worked with CBRE Global Investors as global head of ESG with overall responsibility for developing and communicating global sustainability priorities and strategies across all business lines. Prior to this, Njagulj was head of the sustainability, R&D and Innovation department at Bouygues UK.
AMF Fastigheter - Thomas Erséus has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of AMF Fastigheter, the real estate subsidiary of Swedish pension fund AMF. He is to succeed the current CEO Mats Hederos, who the firm said had decided to retire. Hederos, who has worked at AMF for 15 years and been CEO of the real estate unit since it was set up in 2010, will remain in the leading role during the autumn, with Erséus then taking on the CEO job after the turn of the year, the company said. Erséus is currently CEO of employers’ organisation Almega, and has sat on AMF Fastigheter’s board since the spring of 2020.
JP Morgan Asset Management – Andrew Creber has been appointed Australia and New Zealand CEO. He replaces Rachel Farrell, who left the firm in July. Most recently as the Singapore-based Asia Pacific deputy chief administrative officer, he was responsible for the asset manager’s operations and business execution across the region. Creber, joined the firm in in London in 1998, and, for several years, he served in various roles in Australia. He will be based in Sydney and will report to Dan Watkins, JPMAM’s Asia Pacific CEO.
Lendlease – The global real estate group has appointed Rob Ledder to the role of operations director, life science, for its Americas region. Ledder will be based out of Lendlease’s Princeton, NJ, office and will report directly to Mike Fratianni, managing director, construction. Ledder has nearly three decades of construction experience working at Lendlease.
Cushman & Wakefield – The real estate services firm has appointed Tina West as senior managing director to lead the firm’s multifamily operations in the West Region of the US. West brings more than 30 years of experience in the multifamily space with knowledge of conventional, new construction, affordable, Active Adult, HOA and purpose-built single-family rentals. West joins Cushman & Wakefield from CBRE where she served as managing director and multifamily practice leader for CBRE’s property management business in the Americas. Prior to CBRE, West served as COO of Capstone Real Estate. She also held senior leadership roles at LMC Living, Sunrise Management, Monarch Group and has owned her own business focused on brokerage and property management of both multifamily and residential properties.
InfraStrata – Jonathon Band will be joining the London-listed firm’s board as a non-executive director. Band is a former first sea lord and chief of naval staff of the Royal Navy. Band has also worked very closely with industry to promote and implement the defence industrial strategy, a UK government policy focused on the efficient allocation of military equipment and resources to the UK armed forces. Prior to his role as first sea lord, he was commander in chief fleet during which time, as COO, he was responsible for the operational capability and deployment of the Navy’s front line. Following his retirement from the Royal Navy, Band has held numerous non-executive positions at Lockheed Martin UK, Babcock International Group, National Museum of the Royal Navy and Survitec Group. He is currently a non-executive director of cruise operator Carnival Corporation.
Redevco – The European real estate investment manager has appointed Robbert Zoet to head capital raising as the company seeks to grow and diversify. In his new role, Zoet will drive the growth of Redevco’s investor base and play a critical role in setting up partnerships, including joint ventures, club deals, and pooled investment vehicles. Based in London, Zoet joins Redevco’s client and fund management team as managing director. He joins Redevco from Moorfield Group, where he was head of capital markets. Zoet previously worked for companies such as Lombard Odier, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Fair Lead Partners.
TA Realty – The provider of real estate investment management services has appointed Riley FitzGerald as director of investor relations responsible for the western region of the US. In his new role, FitzGerald, who is based on the West Coast, will contribute his knowledge of domestic business development, client relationships, and consultant coverage to enhance TA Realty’s domestic and global capital partnerships. Prior to joining TA Realty, FitzGerald was a vice president at Fiera Capital. He began his career in institutional sales with Entrust Permal/The Permal Group.
