Cbus Super – Jordan Kraiten has been appointed head of infrastructure at the Australian superannuation fund, following the promotion of Alexandra Campbell to the role of deputy CIO. Kraiten joins from fellow industry superannuation fund Hostplus, where was head of infrastructure for the past 11 years, and will start his new position in the new year. Campbell was made head of infrastructure at Cbus in 2020.
DIF Capital Partners – Lorraine Becker, who has been the interim head of ESG for the past six months, has been given the position permanently at the infrastructure fund manager. Previously, she was a principal consultant for Canadian sustainability consulting firm ERM.
Sienna Real Estate – Michaël Hameau has been appointed head of France to take charge of the firm’s French activities and strengthen the overall management team. Hameau joins from BlackRock where he spent seven years, most recently heading the asset management of the firm’s French real estate activities.
Amro Partners – Wimjan Van de Wiel and Wladimir Baum have joined the firm as investment managers, based in Amsterdam and Frankfurt, respectively. Van de Wiel joins from Capital Value where he was a residential real estate adviser and Baum joins from International Campus Group where he was a transaction manager for over four years.
Altera Vastgoed – The Dutch real estate fund manager has hired Kees van der Plas as a data engineer. Van der Plas comes from Olam Cocoa where he worked as a data scientist. Kees has experience in collecting data from various sources to delivering dashboards, reports and visualisations. His appointment is part of Altera’s digital strategy to optimise its data and information applications.
CBRE – DJ Elefant has joined the firm’s debt and structured finance team as a vice president focused on financing solutions for multifamily and senior housing clients across the US. Elefant joins CBRE having originated loans for over nine years at Greystone, where he focused on the multifamily and healthcare sectors.
