ANREV – The Asian association for investors in non-listed real estate vehicles has appointed David Green-Morgan as its new director, research and professional standards. This role was previously held by Amelie Delaunay until last December. Based in Singapore, Green-Morgan joins ANREV from JLL, where he served as senior advisor, capital markets research. He was also head of global real assets research at MSCI between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, he was head of global real assets research at MSCI from 2022 to 2024, leading a team focused on performance and transactional trends. Green-Morgan also held a key role as managing director, Asia Pacific at Real Capital Analytics from 2017 to 2022. His career also includes a previous tenure as global capital markets research director at JLL from 2011 to 2017.
Partners Group — Stéphane Tetot has joined the firm’s infrastructure business as managing director. Tetot will play a leadership role within the firm’s Infrastructure business and report into David Daum, partner and head of infrastructure Europe. Prior to joining Partners Group, he was a managing director at BlackRock, responsible for originating, executing, and managing renewable power investment opportunities in Europe. As part of this role, he led multiple transactions across a wide variety of industries and held board positions at Ionity, Renner Energies and Envirya.
ESR Group — Brett Robson, an industry veteran and Macquarie Group alumni, has been appointed chair of the independent board; Phil Pearce has been named president in charge of day-to-day operations and David Matheson who has left Starwood Capital for a new position as CIO group strategy and investments. The newly privatised firm’s team includes Matthew Lawson as the CIO; Josh Daitch as CIO of investor solutions; and John Marsh as group head of development. Karine Scelles retains her position as chief people officer.
CBRE – Shun Endo has been appointed head of data centre, capital markets, Asia Pacific. In this new regional position, Endo will assume additional responsibilities alongside his current position within CBRE’s investment banking business in Japan. Based in Tokyo, Endo will focus on developing a comprehensive data centre platform to serve clients across Asia Pacific, collaborating closely with regional data centre leads to deliver integrated solutions to meet the rising demand for data centre investments.
Matter Real Estate – The London-based real estate investment firm has appointed Shahad Alani-Stevens as its new head of investor relations. In this newly created role, Alani-Stevens will lead the firm’s fundraising strategy and oversee all aspects of Matter’s investor-related activities, including managing relationships with the firm’s existing and prospective partners. Alani-Stevens joins Matter from EQT, where she was a member of the client relations and capital raising team, responsible for managing real estate institutional investors across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to EQT, Alani-Stevens served as director of business development at Swiss Life Asset Managers. Her earlier experience includes roles at Greenhill & Co in the capital advisory group, and at Ares Management as a real estate product specialist. She began her career as a private equity investment analyst at Kingsley Capital Partners.
Macquarie Asset Management – John Cobb has been appointed to lead Health Wave Partners, Macquarie’s new investment firm, which will focus on high-quality senior housing in the US. The asset manager has appointed Cobb as CEO of Health Wave Partners. Most recently, Cobb served as executive managing director at Blueprint. Prior to that, he was CIO at Ventas for over 12 years, from November 2010 to February 2023. His career also includes a tenure as CEO of Senior Lifestyle Corporation and over a decade as senior MD at GE Capital between 1997 and 2008.
Apollo – Andrew Brausa has been appointed CEO of Olympus Housing Capital, Apollo’s newly formed US homebuilder finance company. Brausa, who joined Apollo in March this year, brings more than 20 years of investment experience. Most recently, he established and led Brookfield Asset Management’s land financing strategies. His prior experience includes co-founding Domain Real Estate Partners, where he focused on private land financings.
FrontView REIT – Pierre Revol has been appointed chief financial officer. Most recently, Revol served as senior vice president of capital markets at CyrusOne. Prior to his role at CyrusOne, Revol served as senior vice president, corporate finance and investor relations at Spirit Realty Capital. Additionally, Revol was principally involved in corporate transactions, including the spin-off and $2.4bn sale of Spirit Master Trust and the $9.3bn merger of Realty Income and Spirit Realty.
AXA IM Alts – The asset manager has appointed its current head of Asia Pacific Laurent Jacquemin to lead its North American business to succeed the retiring Steve McCarthy as part of a leadership reshuffle. The firm’s head of Australia, Antoine Mesnage, is being promoted to take on an additional role as head of Asia Pacific. Jacquemin joined AXA IM Alts in 2001. Since 2018, he has been responsible for the growth and diversification of AXA IM Alts’ Asia Pacific real estate operations. Mesnage, who joined AXA IM Alts in 2010, has led the Australian business since 2022 and the firm’s entry into residential sectors in the country. Mesnage will continue in his current role while taking on responsibility for the management and strategic development of AXA IM Alts’ real estate activities and its team of 40 in Asia Pacific. AXA IM Alts said McCarthy has decided to retire at the end of the year after almost 13 years with the firm and following a career spanning over 35 years in real estate investment management.
CoStar – Alexa-Maria Rathbone Barker has been appointed head of CoStar Europe. In her expanded role, Barker will oversee CoStar’s operations in the UK. Her responsibilities will include deepening CoStar’s relationships with key players in the CRE space - especially among agencies - and helping clients grow through collaboration and partnerships. Beyond her UK remit, Alexa will also lead CoStar’s European expansion. Barker joined CoStar as head of European sales, where over the past three years she led sales strategy and execution for the company’s platforms across the UK and Europe. Prior to that, she spent a decade at Bloomberg, holding senior leadership positions focused on international growth and heading the European analytics team.
Pluto Finance – The real estate private credit platform has appointed Eduardo Martin as lending director for Iberia. Martin is a credit specialist with a lending career extending over 20 years. His has experience in real estate finance, working for banks and credit funds in London (Pbb, Starz) and Madrid (Alantra).
LIP Invest – David Zimmermann has been appointed second managing director. From now on, the capital market specialist will manage the owner-managed investment company alongside Sebastian Betz. Zimmermann will continue to serve as the primary contact for over 60 existing investors and will be responsible for the distribution of new fund products and the acquisition of further investors. Zimmermann decided to switch from the investor to the asset management side two years ago. Before joining LIP, he worked at Sparkasse Miltenberg-Obernburg for 20 years, most recently as head of investments and deputy head of trading for several years.
Bullfinch – Hugo Merida-Barba has been appointed as the new sole CEO of Bullfinch. Merida-Barba was a founding partner of Bullfinch and has served as co-CEO for the last four years. Bullfinch has also appointed Christoph Wetzel as the new chair of its supervisory board. Wetzel previously served as a supervisory board member at Bullfinch.
