OMERS InfrastructureSara Petrov has been appointed managing director, debt capital markets. Petrov will have global responsibility for developing and managing OMERS Infrastructure’s financing partner relationships and supporting the global investments teams in financing activities at the initial acquisition and throughout each portfolio company’s growth and lifecycle. Originally from Toronto, Petrov has since moved to New York and will continue to be based there in her new role. Petrov has over 15 years of professional experience, having spent more than two and a half years at CIBC World Markets in Toronto, before spending almost 13 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York. Petrov held a number of positions at Bank of America, most recently as an MD in its leveraged finance team.

Macquarie CapitalSean Yajnik has been appointed head of digital infrastructure advisory - Americas. Yajnik will lead Macquarie Capital’s expanding digital infrastructure advisory business in the Americas region, partnering with corporate and financial sponsor clients on M&A, capital raising and debt advisory initiatives. Yajnik brings nearly two decades of advisory experience in digital infrastructure across data centres, consumer broadband, enterprise fibre and wireless infrastructure verticals. Yajnik joins Macquarie Capital from TD Securities, where he specialised in digital infrastructure client coverage and M&A in the US. Previously, he held senior roles at Société Générale and TAP Advisors.

CapManJames O’Neill has been appointed managing director, real estate to the firm’s fund investor relations team. O’Neill previously held positions as executive director and head of equity placement UK at CBRE Capital Advisors and as head of international distribution at Legal & General Investment Management, Real Assets. In his new role, O’Neill will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies, identifying potential investors, and managing investor relations primarily for CapMan’s real estate funds.

Antin Infrastructure PartnersPatrice Schuetz has informed the company that he will step down as group chief financial officer effective 11 July 2025 to pursue a new professional opportunity outside of Europe. A search process is underway to appoint Schuetz’s successor. Pending this appointment, Mélanie Biessy, Antin’s COO, will also serve as interim group CFO to ensure an orderly transition and management continuity. Schuetz joined Antin as group CFO and partner in 2021. 

WestcoreFaris Mansour has joined the industrial-focused real estate private equity firm in the newly created role of managing director, head of portfolio management. Mansour will lead Westcore’s efforts to create and launch scaled investment vehicles on behalf of Westcore’s investment partners as the firm seeks to expand its industrial portfolio. Mansour recently, served as managing director, head of business development, covering the Americas, Europe and the Middle East for PGIM Real Estate, where he managed capital raising teams across three continents. Prior to his role at PGIM, he led investment, product development, marketing activities and other crucial functions for several firms focused on commercial real estate investment nationally and globally, including Mubadala Pramerica Real Estate Investors and Macquarie Capital Advisors.

Westbridge Advisory —  Benita Schneider has been appointed chief commercial officer. In her role as managing director and member of the executive board, she will lead overall project management of the company’s core products. She will focus on increasing the efficiency of existing structures, establishing uniform standards, and seamlessly integrating new product offerings and quality assurance measures into operational value creation. Most recently, Schneider was managing director and head of real estate asset management for Europe at DWS Real Estate. Previously, she oversaw global portfolio management for institutional investors at DWS Alternatives. In her previous positions, she built an international real estate portfolio and was responsible for asset management activities in Europe and North America.

Keppel — Piyush Gupta, the former chief executive of Singapore bank, DBS, has joined the board of Keppel as deputy chairman and a non-executive independent director of the board with effect from 1 July. Gupta will also be appointed a member of the group’s nominating committee, remuneration committee and the board sustainability & safety committee. During his tenure at DBS, Gupta grew the domestic bank into an institution with a strong regional presence. Before joining DBS, he had 27 years of international banking experience and was Citi’s CEO for Southeast Asia-Pacific. He now holds several board positions including chairing the board of trustees of Singapore Management University, and sitting on a board of Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry’s The Future Economy Advisory Panel.

Sirius Real Estate — Angus Fay has been appointed strategic defence adviser. Angus Fay spent 37 years in the British Army, specialising in military logistics. His expertise spanned roles in the UK, Germany, Hong Kong, Canada and the US, as well as operational command on most contemporary operations. Latterly, he was director general of global defence logistics operations in the UK MOD, and also represented the UK on NATO’s logistics committee.

ITE Management — Jonathan Atkeson has been appointed deputy CIO. In his role, Atkeson will help drive ITE’s investment strategy, oversee portfolio performance, and lead the continued expansion into new asset categories. Atkeson has over three decades of experience overseeing investments and operational strategy in the transportation and infrastructure sectors, having most recently served as a managing director at Fortress InvestmentRenee Ross has been appointed chief human resources officer. Ross will lead the firm’s human capital strategy focused on attracting and developing top talent, strengthening organisational design, and fostering a high-performance culture. She brings over 20 years of global HR leadership experience with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and driving strategic transformation. Doug MacDonald has been appointed senior operating advisor to ITE Management supporting initiatives across the firm’s transportation and industrial portfolio. MacDonald will also join the board of directors at American Industrial Transport, an affiliate company of ITE. MacDonald spent more than three decades at Canadian National Railway.    

BakerHostetler — Jessica Mitchell and Landon Sullivan join BakerHostetler in Seattle as partners in the business practice group and members of the real estate practice team. Mitchell joins from a Pacific Northwest law firm, where she spent several years as the leader of its real estate practice group. Sullivan joins from a major international law firm and previously served as senior corporate counsel for a major e-commerce company. Mitchell specialises in acquisitions and dispositions, complex, multiparty large-scale build to suit developments and industrial, retail and office leasing. Mitchell advises clients in a broad range of industries, including banking, retail, technology and professional services. She has worked with small to large companies in addition to a large multinational e-commerce and technology company, regularly providing clients with full service on projects, from inception through due diligence and completion. Sullivan is a real estate transactional attorney with both in-house and private practice experience counseling clients in acquisitions and dispositions, build-to-suit projects, economic development incentives, real estate leasing and financing, and other real estate transaction types. He has advised on multiple asset classes, including industrial, data centre, retail, office, multifamily and mixed-use properties. Sullivan also served as senior corporate counsel for a multinational e-commerce and technology company, where he led an in-house legal team that provided support for all real estate acquisition, development and leasing transactions as well as asset management issues for the company’s entire customer fulfillment network.

LogicorSusann Birkert-Müller has been appointed head of development, in Germany. Birkert-Müller will take on responsibility for delivering new-build projects. With over 17 years of experience in the logistics real estate industry, Birkert-Müller brings a comprehensive understanding of the market as well as in-depth development and transactional knowledge. Birkert-Müller joins from Panattoni where she was responsible for the development of Panattoni Parks, and previous to this, she worked at Deka as head of logistics acquisitions and sales.

NEPI Rockcastle – CEO Rüdiger Dany is leaving his position in March 2026. Dany is leaving to pursue other opportunities in international commercial real estate, the retail industry and consultancy. Dany assumed the leadership of NEPI Rockcastle in February 2022. 

AtNorthJanne Sigurdsson has been appointed chief sustainability and compliance officer.  Sigurdsson ill ensure that atNorth’s sustainability, security, compliance, IT and business process management initiatives receive dedicated executive level direction. Prior to joining atNorth, Sigurdsson spent 8 years at Marel, a global provider of advanced food processing solutions, culminating in her role as VP of supply chain. She has also held several key positions, including global CIO and MD, Iceland, at aluminum production business Alcoa.

Henry BootNick Duckworth will step down from his role as managing director of Hallam Land, the group’s land promotion business, at the end of the year. A process has already commenced to identify his successor, and Duckworth will remain with the business until the end of the year, allowing for an orderly transition of his responsibilities. Hallam Land was formed in 1989 and Duckworth joined the business in 1992, establishing the South West office five years later. He held a number of positions before becoming managing director in 2016.  

HqOKunal Lala has been appointed senior managing director to lead the firm’s expansion across EMEA, execute the company’s European roadmap, provide in-person support to clients and continue to build strong relationships across the industry. Lala served as head of sales and partnerships at Spaceflow, where he refined the company’s go-to-market, sales, and account management strategies.

Montagu EvansJonathan Stevenson has been appointed partner to lead the firm’s residential capital markets team, as the firm continues to expand its integrated residential offer. Stevenson was previously head of BTR and funding at Knight Frank. At Montagu Evans, he will focus on leading and growing investment, development and funding advice across build-to-rent, PBSA assets and emerging co-living and later-living sectors.
