Madeleine Cosgrave, the former head of Europe at GIC’s real estate arm, has joined the real estate division of ICG as a senior advisor.

ICG Real Estate said Cosgrave will provide “strategic investment advice across the platform” and support the team’s growth plan.

Cosgrave spent over 20 years at GIC Real Estate, where she most recently served as head of Europe and a member of the global investment committee. Prior to joining the sovereign wealth fund in 1999, Cosgrave spent 10 years at JLL, as an associate director.

Cosgrave holds several advisory positions across the real estate industry, serving as an independent consultant to CBRE Investment Management’s EMEA investment committee, and as a non-executive director and audit committee member at LandSec.

Krysto Nikolic, ICG Real Estate’s global head, said: “It is a privilege to welcome Madeleine to the team - her significant UK and international experience in the real estate sector will be a huge asset to the platform, and her track record and insight will support the growth of our business. We are delighted to have her on board.”

Cosgrave said: “ICG Real Estate has built a market-leading position due to its outstanding track record, highly talented team and nimble and entrepreneurial approach. I am excited to work with the business as it moves into its next phase of growth.”
