JP Morgan is launching a global infrastructure team.
The US bank has made two internal appointments to a new Infrastructure Finance and Advisory (IFA) division.
Carlos Hernandez, global head of banking, said that as the market for infrastructure finance has grown globally, the banks thinks it is “timely to position ourselves with a global team and structure to expand the business”.
Daniel Zelikow, global head of the banks’s ICM Public Sector Group, and Huw Richards, co-head of investment grade finance, have been named global co-heads of the new arm.
IFA will advise clients on – and structure finance for – global infrastructure projects.
