National Infrastructure Commission, Canada Life Investments, PATRIZIA Immobilien, Hodes Weill, GeoPhy
National Infrastructure Commission – The UK government has named its commissioners for the new body. Michael Heseltine, a former deputy prime minister, and John Armitt, the former chair of the Olympic Delivery Authority, have been appointed as commissioners, along with Tim Besley, a former member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee. Demis Hassabis and Sadie Morgan, as well as Bridget Rosewell and Paul Ruddock, have also joined.
Canada Life Investments – Joanna Turner has been appointed head of property research. She joins from DTZ, where she was an associate director.
Patrizia Immobilien – Peter Forster has been named country head for Germany. He retains his previous duties as group head of asset management. Philipp Schaper is now managing director of the acquisition team in Germany. Schaper was previously managing director at IVG.
Hodes Weill & Associates – Andy Martin has been appointed an advisory board member. Martin, a senior partner at Strutt & Parker, was appointed trustee of the Urban Land Institute in April.
GeoPhy – Huib Vaessen has joined the commercial property data company’s management team as chief product officer. Vaessen was previously senior portfolio manager for real estate securities at Kempen Capital Management.
