CBRE Global Investors – Nathan Zinn has been appointed managing director with the US managed accounts group. CBRE GI said Zinn would serve as assistant portfolio manager for a public pension plan separate-account client. He will work with the account’s portfolio manager, oversee the deployment of capital for the account and ensure operational business plans are executed. Zinn joins from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, where he served as senior investment manager for real assets. He also worked in portfolio strategy and research for LaSalle Investment Management.
Hannover Leasing Investment – Bernhard Berg has been appointed managing director. Berg will be responsible for investments for institutional investors at the subsidiary. Berg was previously chief executive at IVG Institutional Funds, with a focus on open property funds. He has also worked for Generali Immobilien in Germany and Aareal Bank.
CR Investment Management – Tim Jones has been appointed associate director in the London office. Jones will source UK loans with a value of up to £30m (€38m) in the commercial real-estate lending business. He previously worked for Omega Group, Clydesdale Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland. Andreas Costa has been appointed director, leading UK commercial real-estate lending operations.
Cushman & Wakefield – Mark Freeman has joined the company’s Warsaw office as head of valuation and advisory in Poland. Freeman previously led the valuation and consultancy business of Savills in Poland.
Landid – Andrew Clarke and Claire Freeland have been appointed development directors. The property developer said the pair would be responsible for new build and refurbishment projects for commercial, residential, retail and industrial use. Clarke joins from DTZ, where he was an associate director, while Freeland joins from planning consultancy Quod.
