Valad Europe – Robin Macpherson has been appointed as head of risk for Europe. He joins from RBS, where he was head of legal. Prior to this, he was a solicitor at Travers Smith in London.
Kames Capital – Philip Bach has been named head of Active Value Property. Bach will be responsible for all investment-related activity for the Kames Active Value Property Fund, UK Active Value Property Unit Trust and Active Value Property Fund II. Bach joined Kames Capital in 2012 from ING Real Estate Investment Management. Before this, he was an asset manager for Jones Lang LaSalle.
Gresham House – Matthew Giles and Rob Carlow have been promoted to directors in the firm’s forestry division. Jon Strickland, managing director at Gresham House Forestry, is joining the board of Gresham House Asset Management.
Scarborough International Properties – Paul Kelly has been appointed to the board as development director. Prior to joining Scarborough in November last year, he was a partner at Knight Frank in its development and agency team.
CBRE – Benjamin Khafi Grynfas has been named head of the industrial and logistics team in Italy. He joins from IDI Gazeley, where he worked as country manager for Italy. He has also worked for Goodman and the FIAT Group.
Infrastructure and Projects Authority – Matthew Vickerstaff has been appointed deputy chief executive and head of project finance. He previously worked for ClearlySo, a UK impact investment intermediary. He has also worked for Société Générale and Hambros Bank.
