Credit Suisse Asset Management – Christoph Schumacher has been appointed head of global real estate. He will replace Beat Schwab in June and report to Michel Degen, head of asset management Switzerland and EMEA. Schumacher was managing director at Union Investment Institutional Property from March 2011 and a member of Union Investment’s real estate investment committee. Prior to that, he worked for Generali Real Estate in Cologne, Luxembourg and Paris. He has also worked for Linklaters in Berlin and London. As of June, Credit Suisse Asset Management real estate will consist of the following three business segments: real estate Switzerland, headed by Raymond Rüttimann, real estate international, headed by Francisca Fariña Fischer, and real estate mandates and advisory, under the leadership of Daniel Tochtermann, all reporting to Schumacher. 

Bouwinvest REIMJoanne Roozenburg, Robert Schellekens and Arina van der Wulp have been appointed as members of the management team of its Office Fund. Roozenburg has been named as senior asset manager for the Amsterdam and Utrecht area. She joins from CBRE Global Investors where she was responsible for part of its Dutch Office Fund. She has also worked as an office portfolio manager at Corio and asset manager at ING REIM. Schellekens has started as senior technical manager, focusing on sustainability and innovation. He has worked as a project leader at several engineering firms, specialising on sustainable buildings and installations. Van der Wulp has started as a marketeer for commercial property, supporting the Office Fund from Bouwinvest’s marketing and communication team. She joins from Rabo Vastgoedgroep, where she was sales manager and communication adviser.
