TH Real Estate – Maurice Meulendijk has been appointed asset manager in Madrid and Gianluca Scarcella joins as portfolio manager in Milan. Meulendijk joins TH Real Estate from Multi Developmen while Scarcella was previously at Cushman & Wakefield. Tim Hennes has been appointed senior investment manager for European logistics in Germany, Spain, Italy, Benelux and France. Hennes, who will report into Thorsten Kiel, will be based in TH Real Estate’s Frankfurt office. He joins from AEW Europe. Previous roles include PointPark Properties and Heitman International. In the US, the firm has hired James Murphy from Prudential as a managing director of client capital.
Pradera – Tomas Tobolka has been appointed as assistant fund manager and Thomas Powell as senior analyst. Tobolka will assist in the management of Pradera’s first fund, the Pradera European Retail Fund. Powell joins from private property investment company Dunedin Property. He has also worked at LaSalle Investment Management and JLL.
Cording Real Estate Group – Philip Gittins has been named group finance director. Gittins is responsible for Cording’s overall finance function. He spent almost 20 years at Henderson Global Investors (now TH Real Estate) where, until 2007, he worked within the real estate group as a director responsible for finance. In 2007, he left to jointly create a real estate and private equity fund administration business, Saltgate.
UBS Global Asset Management – Michael Husung has been appointed head of business development in Germany. He joined at the start of this month. Husung is responsible for growing the institutional client base in Germany. He has previously held various senior real estate business development roles with Deutsche Bank (RREEF Spezial Invest) and Hines Immobilien. Cornelia Cojanu will join in September as associate director in Munich.
