JLL — Pieter Hendrikse has been appointed as the new chief executive of JLL’s Netherlands business, with effect from 1 November. Hendrikse, who was European chief executive of CBRE Global Investors — and of ING Real Estate Investment Management before its merger — will replace Vincent Querton at JLL. Querton left JLL earlier this year. Frank Rexach is joining as managing director, enterprise strategy and innovation, Asia-Pacific. He will be responsible for co-creating new real estate strategies with investors as well as occupiers. Rexach will be based in Shanghai. He has worked at Haworth for 15 years.
RPMI Railpen — Alastair Dawson and Richard van Lente have been hired by RPMI Railpen, the manager of the Railways Pension Scheme, to complete its internal property investment team, led by head of property Anna Rule. Dawson will be senior property asset manager, and van Lente senior property asset and development manager. Dawson was previously part of CBRE’s national asset management team where he was responsible for the management of Harbert Management Corporation’s industrial assets. At Railpen, he will have responsibility for the day-to-day asset management of office and industrial assets. Van Lente comes from Market Tech. He will be in charge of the daily asset management of a number of the RPMI Railpen’s retail assets.
TH Real Estate — Christel Zordan has been appointed head of France. She joins from Altarea Cogedim where she was head of investment and asset management.
Bouwinvest — Boy Wesel is taking on the role of manager strategic partnerships to improve relationships with municipalities and housing corporations. Wesel previously worked at engineering consultancy firm Sweco, advising institutional investors on various area developments, and also managing institutional portfolios.
Amro Real Estate Partners — Jai Patel has been hired as investment director, in an expansion of the senior management team. He will work alongside managing director Raj Kotecha. Patel will be responsible for originating and structuring debt and equity financing, investment appraisal and financial modelling for Amro Real Estate Partner’s deals in the student accommodation, build-to-rent and residential investment property sectors. He comes to the firm from ICG-Longbow, where he worked as manager within the real estate investment team.
