JLL, EPRA, Hines, AEW, Bilfinger GVA, Neinver, Savills, Genesta, Engel & Völkers Investment Consulting 

Jones Lang LaSalleChristian Ulbrich, currently CEO for the EMEA region, will become president of JLL in June. Guy Grainger, currently UK chief executive, will replace Ulbrich. Chris Ireland will become UK chief executive.

EPRA – The European Public Real Estate Association has appointed Tobias Steinmann as director of public affairs. He joins EPRA from German chemical firm BASF’s government relations office in Brussels. Before his position with BASF, Steinmann, a German national, worked as a public affairs consultant in several areas of EU policymaking, after a role as parliamentary advisor and head of office for a Member of the European Parliament.

HinesSherri Schugart has been appointed to the firm’s executive committee. Schugart is senior managing director and CEO of the firm’s core fund, REIT and BDC Group. She previously served as chief operating officer as well as chief financial officer for several of the entities. Schugart joined the firm in 1995.

AEW EuropeChristina Ofschonka has been hired as director of fund management. Ofschonka, who will be based in Frankfurt, will be responsible for the firm’s City Retail Fund. Before joining AEW Europe, Ofschonka worked as a portfolio manager at Alte Leipziger for seven years.

Bilfinger GVA – Gerry Hughes has been named chief executive. Based in London, Hughes replaces Rob Bould, who will remain as a consultant to the business after seven years at the helm.

Neinver Bożena Gierszewska-Mroziewicz has been named country head for Poland. Gierszewska-Mroziewicz joined the firm 10 years ago. She has also worked for Inter IKEA Center and IICP.

SavillsTom Burwinkel and Jasper Leydes have joined the firm in The Netherlands. Leydes, previously an investment consultant at Van Dijk and Ten Cate, has been appointed as an associate director within the firm’s residential investment team. Burwinkel, who spent over four years at FGH as a senior relationship manager, has taken the role as an associate director for commercial investments.

Genesta – Mark Houston has been appointed risk and compliance manager in Luxembourg. He will take up his new position in April. Houston joins from M&G Real Estate where he was risk manager. He has also held positions with Hines, Cordea Savills and BlackRock in Luxembourg. 

Engel & Völkers Investment Consulting – Thorsten Brogt has been named executive director of business development. Brogt will offer support to buyers and sellers of distressed loan portfolios. Brogt joins from Hudson Advisors Germany, where he was director of portfolio management for Germany, Spain, and The Netherlands. Prior to that, Brogt worked at Commerzbank.
