Första AP-fonden (AP1), BMO Global Asset Management, Pramerica Real Estate Investors, Vonovia, Legal & General Investment Management, Vesteda

Första AP-fonden (AP1) – Sweden’s first pension buffer fund has hired Johan Temse as investment manager. Temse was previously at Aberdeen Asset Management where he worked on a European secondaries fund in which AP1 was a lead investor in 2013. His role at AP1 will see him focus on real estate within the fund’s real assets division.

BMO Global Asset ManagementJean-Michel Bongiorno and Björn Bahlmann have been hired as sales directors in France and Switzerland. Bongiorno joins from CBRE Global Investors where he was director of investor relations for southern Europe for eight years. He is based in London until BMO Global Asset Management opens a Paris office this year. Bahlmann joins from Morgan Stanley where he was vice president for five years. He has also worked for SEB Asset Management in Frankfurt.

Pramerica Real Estate InvestorsEduard Wehry has been appointed managing director and head of business development for Asia Pacific. Wehry was previously a managing director and head of investor services in Asia for CBRE Global Investors. He has also worked for ING Real Estate Investment Management, following roles with Baring Brothers International, ING Barings and ING Corporate Finance.

VonoviaThomas Zinnöcker, deputy chairman of the management board, has left his role. Zinnöcker was appointed to the board during the integration of GAGFAH and the former Deutsche Annington. With the integration completed, his temporary role has ended. Prior to joining Vonovia, he was CEO at GAGFAH, a role he held since 2013.

Legal & General Investment Management – Erik Westermark has been appointed senior investment associate at LGIM Infrastructure. Reporting to Silja Turville, head of LGIM Infrastructure, Westermark previously worked Lloyds Bank focusing on infrastructure, energy and acquisition finance. He has also worked at Citi Global Markets.

VestedaHans Copier has joined the firm’s supervisory committee. Copier, CEO of Propertize, was previously a member of the European executive committee and country manager for the Netherlands at CBRE Global Investors. Meanwhile, Kees de Boo will step down as member and chairman of the supervisory committee of Vesteda in to be replaced by Maarten De Groof.
