JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) – Rachel Farrell has been appointed chief executive officer in Australia. She will also assume the role of country head of global investment management, a newly created role. Farrell will oversee all of JPMAM’s Australian operations. Currently based in Hong Kong, she will be directly responsible for both JPMAM’s funds and institutional businesses in Australia. She has been the firm’s head of sovereign and institutional, Asia Pacific ex-Japan since 2014, and is credited for leading and developing the institutional business in the region. JP Morgan Asset Management started operating in Australia in 2010.
M&G Real Estate – Kevin Vickers has been named director, investment management for its long income real estate business. He reports to Matthew Stone, head of long income real estate, who joined in August. In his new role, Vickers will identify, structure and undertake transactions to support occupiers’ strategic and long-term property holdings across the UK and continental Europe. He joins from Deloitte.
DB Symmetry – The industrial logistics developer has appointed a new finance director and two development directors. Andy Pinto joins from Urban & Civic to provide strategic financial leadership, Jonathan Wallis joins from Miller Developments and Harry Sadleir was recruited from LxB Retail Properties.
