Aviva Investors – Gary Sherwin has been appointed as head of UK investment transactions, a new role. He spent 16 years at Land Securities. Daniel Lienhard has joined in Germany as head of investment transactions, based in Frankfurt. He was previously at Savills Investment Management. Gaston Brandes has been appointed as managing director, head of real estate business development. He joins from Grosvenor Fund Management. Helen Rainsford has been appointed senior director, retail development and joins from Martins Properties. Darren Freed has been appointed as retail asset manager and joins from Hammerson

Savills Investment ManagementMarcel Fleminks and Edgar Hertog have been named directors in Amsterdam. The pair co-founded independent advisory firm Deltastate Makelaars en Vastgoedadviseurs.

Kames Capital – Rachel Robinson has been appointed as senior asset manager. Robinson joins from Aviva Investors where she was an asset manager in the high street retail and shopping centre team. Before Aviva, she was a property manager at Rubicon Retail and senior asset manager at Chartwell Land.

Segro – Souman Das will take over from chief financial officer Justin Read in January. Das is managing director and chief financial officer at Capital & Counties Properties (Capco).

Westport Capital PartnersErin Kerr has joined the firm as vice president, investor relations, and Kevin McTavish has been named a director. Most recently, Kerr focused on raising global capital for both funds and direct investment joint ventures as a senior director at Tishman Speyer. Prior to that, she was a director at Eurohypo. McTavish will be based in the firm’s London office. Prior to joining Westport, he spent 12 years as the managing partner of Summit Capital.

KGAL – Emmanuel Parrenin has been appointed as head of business development. He was previously a senior managing director at Credit Suisse in London where he headed the credit solutions business for Europe. 

Capital Bay – Ralph Ziegler has been named managing director, responsible for all of the group’s property acquisitions. Ziegler is moving from Deutsche Wohnen.

AMP Capital - The investment manager has re-structured its global equities and fixed income business. The changes to AMP Capital’s equities business are said to reflect increased investor interest in listed real assets. It is bringing together its two listed real estate capabilities - listed infrastructure and listed real estate - under the leadership of Matthew Hoult in the new role of head of global listed real assets. As a result of the new structure, Tim Humphreys, who is currently head of global listed infrastructure, will leave the role.
