AEW – Hans Vrensen has joined as the firm’s European head of research and strategy, based in London. Vrensen was global head of research at DTZ from 2009 to 2015. Prior to joining DTZ in 2009, he was head of European securitisation research at Barclays Capital. He has also worked as a consultant at Green Street Advisors and CREFC Europe. Vrensen joins AEW’s European Investment Committee.
Pensions Infrastructure Platform – Paul Gill has been recruited as an investment manager, having previously worked at Lloyds Banking Group Asset Management as an associate director specialising in infrastructure and energy.
M&G Real Estate – Kevin Vickers has joined as director of investment management for the firm’s long income real estate business. He joins from Deloitte. His previous experience includes eight years as a partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s corporate finance team. He also spent four years with Ernst & Young as a senior executive in its real estate finance division.
Aprirose – Leigh Hazelton has been appointed as investment associate and Jinal Patel as investment analyst. Hazelton was previously a manager in KPMG’s real estate M&A team, while Patel was previously an analyst at Circle Housing and Gatehouse Bank.
Savills Investment Management – Rena Knoepke has been named head of business development for German-speaking countries. Knoepke was previously at Corpus Sireo Real Estate as director of national institutions and has also worked for Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate and Henderson Global Investors in Hamburg, Frankfurt and London. She will be based in Hamburg.
