Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management – Kevin White has joined as a director and head of investment strategy in the Americas for the alternatives and real assets business. Based in New York, White was most recently a senior vice-president in investment strategy and research at American Realty Capital Properties.
LaSalle Investment Management – Ian Mackie , senior executive, has returned to Brisbane after 21 years in Singapore. Mackie, a founding member of the LaSalle team in the Asia Pacific, was recently president of LaSalle’s Asia Opportunity Fund series and Japan Logistics Fund series.
Strategic Value Partners – Ian Guthrie , previously of Lloyds Banking Group, has been appointed to the advisory council. Guthrie previously held a number of executive positions at Lloyds and Halifax Bank of Scotland. He was most recently managing director of Lloyds’s real estate business-support unit.
Cording Real Estate Group – Ewan Montgomery has been appointed director of investment in London. He joins from Aberdeen Asset Management , where he was a property fund director with responsibility for two mixed portfolios across the UK. He has also worked for CBRE in London.
Dentons – The company has made three appointments in the European real estate practice. Bernhard Gemmel , who will be based in Frankfurt, is returning after working two years at Bird&Bird . Véronique Lagarde joins the Paris-based team from Lefèvre Pelletier & Associés , while Jean-Luc Calisti also joins the Paris team, from Herbert Smith Freehills .
JLL – Piotr Piasecki has been appointed head of corporate finance for the CEE region. Piasecki, who has worked in the commercial real estate sector with JLL for 10 years, co-founded the corporate finance department for the region in 2011.
