Hermes Investment Management – Ben Patton has been appointed associate director in the investment manager’s real estate debt team. Based in London, Patton will be responsible for the origination and execution of commercial real estate debt transactions. He will report to Vincent Nobel, head of Hermes’ real estate debt platform. Prior to joining Hermes, Patton was vice-president of corporate banking at Barclays Real Estate.
M&G Real Estate – Martin Towns has been appointed head of capital solutions. Towns, who will report to Tony Brown, global CIO, was promoted internally. Promoted internally, Towns has been deputy fund manager of a £9bn (€12.6bn) separate account for the past four years. He has also worked for Close Brothers.
INREV – Three new members have been appointed to the management board. Marieke van Kamp, head of real Estate and alternatives at the NN Group; Michael Clark, head of EMEA investor services at CBRE Global Investors; and EY partner Michael Hornsby were named board members. Udo Schaffer, E.ON head of portfolio management, and Erwin Stouthamer, principal at Composition Capital Partners, were re-elected to the board. Michael Morgenroth, chief executive at Caerus Debt Investments; Jeff Jacobson, global chief executive at LaSalle Investment Management; and Deborah Lloyd of Nabarro have rotated off the board after six years.
Schroder Real Estate – Jourdan Rajwan has been appointed investment manager focused on central London investment and occupational markets. Prior to joining Schroders, Jourdan worked at JLL.
AMP Capital – Damian Stanley has joined the firm’s infrastructure equity team as principal of investments in London. Stanley was most recently a director on the Australian board of Whitehelm Capital and chairman of its UK subsidiary board. He has also worked at Morgan Stanley and Macquarie Infrastructure.
P3 – Maïté Inglis has been appointed operations director for France and the Benelux. Inglis joins from Prologis, where she was country manager for France. She has also worked for Gazeley.
Cording Real Estate Group – Martin Schmidt has joined as asset manager in the Berlin office, while Mario Herrmann has joined as property manager in the Frankfurt office. Schmidt, who will asset manage properties in Berlin, joins from Thelen Immobilien Management. Herrmann joins from Bilfinger Real Estate and has also worked for the State of Hesse and Hochtief.
Alvarez & Marsal – George Mantzavinatos has joined the firm’s Athens office as a senior director in real estate advisory. Prior to joining the firm, Mantzavinatos was managing director at Doha Properties in Qatar. He has also worked as deputy general manager for real estate at the National Bank of Greece.
Ducalian Capital – Nicolas Calderini has been appointed as an associate in its capital raising team. Calderini, who will focus on developing Ducalian’s private client base of foreign nationals, previously worked at City Trust Multi Family Office.
GL Hearn – John Spice has been appointed corporate director. Spice previously worked at Bidwells as an equity partner having launched Spice Property Consultants in 2010.
Howard Kennedy – Richard Burt has been appointed head of real estate operations at the law firm. Burt joins from Begbies Traynor Group. The firm has also appointed Stephanie Brig as a senior associate in the firm’s corporate real estate team, joining from Taylor Walton.
Goodwin Procter – Catriona Berman has been appointed partner in the firm’s real estate capital markets practice in London. Berman will join from Macfarlanes on completion of her notice period.
