Ares Management CorporationJon Plavnick has joined the asset manager’s infrastructure debt team as a partner. Plavnick is based in New York and will focus on sourcing, structuring and managing infrastructure debt investments throughout the Americas. Plavnick brings nearly two decades of experience in infrastructure debt, most recently serving as a partner at Global Infrastructure Partners. Prior to that, he was responsible for high-yield and distressed private credit opportunities as a managing director at Oaktree Capital Management, in addition to previous roles at BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank. Spencer Ivey, partner and head of Americas and Asia-Pacific infrastructure debt at Ares, has relocated to the firm’s Sydney office to help accelerate the strategy’s buildout in the Asia-Pacific region. Originally from Australia, Ivey has helped lead the platform’s growth from New York over the past 11 years, including through Ares’ acquisition of the infrastructure debt business in 2022.  

FerrovialAlberto González has been named director of business development within the global infrastructure company’s highways division Cintra, while Javier Tamargo assumes the role of US CEO of Cintra. Ricardo Bosch Urzua has been appointed director of strategy of Cintra. González will lead all business development efforts, identifying strategic opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s portfolio in the US and globally. González joined the company in 2004 and has held several leadership positions in business development and asset management, most recently serving as US CEO. Tamargo will oversee all US highway assets, including TEXpress Lanes in Texas, I-77 Express in North Carolina and 66 Express Outside the Beltway in Northern Virginia. He joined Ferrovial in 2002 and brings more than 20 years of experience in North America and Europe to his new role as US CEO. Tamargo was most recently president & CEO of 407 ETR in Canada, after leadership stints as COO of North Tarrant Express in Dallas-Fort Worth and CEO of I-77 Express. Urzua will lead the implementation of a strategic roadmap related to new asset classes, partnerships and inorganic opportunities. For the past 12 years, he has served as Cintra’s North America head of business development.

SavillsMariana Pinho who joins the Savills Earth Capital Advisors team as an associate. Previously, Pinho worked with Amberside Advisors, a financial and commercial advisory firm focusing on renewables, decentralised energy, infrastructure and public sector projects. At Savills, she will focus on providing strategic and financial advisory services to clients in the cleantech and renewables sector.

Cushman & Wakefield — James Young has been promoted to president, markets, APAC and EMEA, a new role with ultimate responsibility for specific service lines spanning different geographies, including capital markets, leasing, tenant representation, valuation and asset services, as well as sectors including offices, retail, logistics & industrial and living. Young has been with the firm 35 years, holding a variety of leadership roles across both regions. Tom Gibson has been appointed president – project and development services and sustainability, APAC & EMEA. Gibson will be responsible for project and development services and sustainability services across the combined business. His expanded role also includes the continued responsibility for the fast-growing data centres asset class. Emma Rossetti expands her role to head of operations APAC & EMEA. She will be responsible for simplifying business processes, improving efficiency, and driving economies of scale, allowing frontline leaders to focus more time on clients and revenue growth.

ChancerygateDan Powers and Ian Johnson have both been promoted to senior project management director. In addition, Chris Thrippleton, Darren Jeal and Joe Johnson have all been promoted to the position of project management director. In the development team, Carmelle Textor has been promoted to planning director while Chris Brown and Matthew Connor are promoted to senior development directors. Olivia Ashby has been appointed as junior leasing and development manager. Within the company’s finance team, Aggy Bak becomes head of finance and Shreeya Panchal assumes the role of head of financial planning and analysis. Phillippa Twohig-Howell is promoted to senior development analyst while Fergus Frank is appointed corporate finance manager. Within Chancerygate’s investment team, Luke Hughes and Luke van Gog are now investment manager and portfolio manager respectively. Rocío Fernández has been appointed an associate development manager for Spain to support its expansion throughout Europe. Fernández joins from CBRE where she most recently held the position of associate director in the industrial and logistics capital markets team.

Ambrose — Grant Goldman has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer. Goldman joined Ambrose in 2016. In this new role, Goldman will continue to provide leadership and maintain ultimate responsibility for development operations, asset management, legal, marketing and talent and culture. Stephen Lindley has been promoted to senior vice president, investments. In this new role, Lindley will lead deployment and leasing efforts across all Ambrose speculative markets, including the Midwest, Mountain States and Florida. Lindley joined the firm in 2021. Cody Garrison has been promoted to vice president, development operations. Garrison joined Ambrose almost five years ago. In this new role, he will lead the planning and execution for Ambrose’s national build-to-suit operations. Katie Wilkins has been promoted to vice president, marketing and communications. Wilkins joined Ambrose in 2020. In this new role, she will continue to provide strategic leadership across brand development, thought leadership and other firmwide initiatives supporting Ambrose’s growth and market presence. Eric Seamands, who joined Ambrose in 2019, has been promoted to director of development. In this new role, Seamands will oversee the planning and execution of new developments within Ambrose’s speculative markets, including team management and mentoring. Eric Blount has been promoted to senior development manager. Blount, who joined in 202, will oversee the planning and execution of speculative developments in the Southeast region and projects in various geographies within Ambrose’s national build-to-suit operations. Clay Smith has been promoted to senior development manager. In this new role, Smith will work within Ambrose’s national build-to-suit team where he will continue to lead complex projects for various tenant clients and contribute to the team’s success. Noah Smith has been promoted to senior capital markets associate. Smith joined Ambrose in 2023. In this new role, Smith will continue to contribute to Ambrose’s capital markets team by supporting financial analysis, underwriting, investor relations and other initiatives.

CitivaleJo Bond has been appointed non-executive director. Within her new role, Bond will provide governance and oversight to the business, with an input into the strategic focus of the company. She joins from Lothbury Investment Management, bringing over 35 years of experience in the commercial property sector, gained in fund management houses including Legal & General, Gartmore and CBRE investors.

Knight FrankMatt Roper has joined the firm’s London lease advisory team. Roper joins the firm, bringing with him more than a decade of experience advising landlords and occupiers across London’s office markets. He will work across all core London submarkets, expanding beyond his previous focus on the City, Midtown and Southbank areas.

Adirondack Capital Partners – Jacob Brenner has joined the firm as associate director.  Based in New York City, Brenner will focus on sourcing, analysing, and executing middle-market industrial real estate acquisitions and dispositions throughout the Northeast, with an emphasis on digital infrastructure, advanced manufacturing facilities and logistics opportunities. Before joining the firm, he led pricing strategy and market intelligence at a national logistics firm, where he developed cost forecasting tools, streamlined workflows, and led market education initiatives.
