Ardian – The newly launched real estate arm of Ardian has hired three country-focused managing directors. Less than a year after Betrand Julien-Laferrière was appointed to lead the new business and former Allianz Real Estate CEO Olivier Piani joined as an adviser, Ardian has hired Stéphanie Bensimon in France, Rodolfo Petrosino in Italy and Bernd Haggenmüller in Germany. Bensimon was most recently at Invesco Real Estate, Petrosino joins from IDeA FIMIT and Haggenmüller has left Shaftesbury Asset Management.
Global Logistic Properties – China president Kent Yang has stepped down to take on a senior advisory role. Teresa Zhuge and Victor Mok have been appointed co-presidents of GLP’s China business.
CBRE Global Investors – Thierry Larroque has been appointed chief financial officer and chief operating officer in France. Larroque previously worked for Hines in France and Luxembourg for 13 years. He has also worked for Morgan Stanley France and Lehman Brothers.
Rockspring – Chris Warren has been made partner and Allen Chilten promoted to European director. Warren re-joined Rockspring in the fund accounting team in 2009 having previously worked for the business betwee 2005 and 2008. He has also held roles at Kingfisher, AXA Investment Management and Fidelity Investment Managers. Chilten joined Rockspring’s investor relations team in 2013, having worked for Credit Suisse.
PwC – Craig Hughes has been appointed as global real estate leader. He will succeed Kees Hage who has led the practice since 2008. Hughes has led PwC’s UK real estate and global sovereign wealth fund real estate practice for over three years.
IFM Investors – Brian Clarke has been appointed as global head of investor relations. Clarke was previously executive director, global investor relations for North America. Prior to joining IFM Investors in 2011, he was a senior managing director at Macquarie Capital.
