Teacher Retirement System of Texas has disclosed it made $300m (€255.2m) worth infrastructure and real estate commitments last month.
The pension fund said, in September, it approved a $100m co-investment into an emerging market infrastructure investment entity managed by Actis and a $200m opportunistic real estate investment into the Starwood Distressed Opportunity Fund XII Global.
Texas Teachers declined to comment further on its co-investment.
The pension fund previously backed the Actis Long Life Infrastructure and the Actis Energy IV funds.
