USAA Real Estate – Justin Hildebrant will relocate to Amsterdam in June, leaving his San Francisco office to further USAA’s efforts in the development of industrial properties in Europe, where the company has been active in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. Hildebrandt has been with USAA since 2011.
Savills Investment Management – James Bury will become chief executive for Europe, while Michael Flynn will take on the role of chief executive for Asia Pacific. Savills has also appointed Thomas Guetle and Axel Kraus as co-heads of its German business. Carolina von Groddeck will become head of transactions in Europe, while Gerhard Lehner has been promoted to head of fund management in Europe.
Allianz Global Investors – Deborah Zurkow, CIO and head of infrastructure debt, is to become head of the alternatives pillar within Allianz’s global investment platform. She will join the global executive committee in June. Zurkow has been with Allianz since 2012.
Standard Life Investments – Andrew Jackson, head of wholesale and listed real estate funds, has resigned after 25 years of service. He will leave in October. Svitlana Gubriy is to head SLI’s Global REIT funds, while James Britton will manage the Global Real Estate Fund, formerly Global Select.
JP Morgan Asset Management – Alan Supple has been named head of global real estate securities, a newly created role. Based in London, Supple will be responsible for managing global and international publicly traded real estate securities strategies. He joins from BNY Mellon Asset Management’s CenterSquare Investment Management. He has also worked for Salomon Smith Barney in New York.
Ivanhoé Cambridge – Claude Sirois has been named president of retail. Sirois previously served as executive vice-president of shopping centres for North America. Karen Laflamme has joined the business unit as executive vice-president and CFO. Roman Drohomirecki has been appointed executive vice-president and COO, while Paul Gleeson becomes executive vice-president and chief development officer. Nathalie Rousseau has been named vice-president of asset management.
CBRE Global Investors – Nick Rittenhouse has joined as a director in investor services. He will be based in Los Angeles. Rittenhouse joins from The Townsend Group, where he served for eight years, most recently as a consultant in the San Francisco office.
University Partnerships Programme – Andrew Percival has been named managing director of UPP Projects. He will take up the role in July, joining from VINCI Construction UK, where he was director of VINCI UK Developments and VINCI Investments. He has also held senior positions at Taylor Woodrow Construction.
Catella – Marcus Andersson has been appointed head of mid-office at Catella’s fund management operations. He will join in September from Nordnet Bank. He has also worked for Swedbank Robur between 2006 and 2012.
Investa – Penny Ransom has been appointed group executive and fund manager on the Investa Office Fund. She will take up the role in August. She has spent 14 years at Lend Lease and was most recently manager of the Dexus Wholesale Property Fund.
Amundi – Nicolas Simon has taken up the Mumbai-based role of deputy chief executive at the State Bank of India(SBI) Mutual Fund. The fund is a joint venture between Amundi and SBI. Before relocating to India in October last year, Simon was chief executive of Amundi Real Estate. He has also worked for CAAM Real Estate and Henderson Global Investors.
