Savills Investment Management – The international real estate investment manager has appointed Lisen Heijbel as head of investment, Nordics. Heijbel will be responsible for originating and overseeing real estate transactions in the Nordics and will report to Peter Broström, head of the Nordics. She will be based in Stockholm. Heijbel has over 15 years’ experience in the investment market, most recently as head of capital markets, Sweden, at CBRE. She has also previously worked for JLL in Stockholm and London.
Edmond de Rothschild REIM – Robbert Bakhuijsen has been appointed head of investment for Benelux. Bakhuijsen will be responsible for the sourcing and execution of new acquisitions in the Benelux region. He will be mainly focusing on acquisitions of income-generating logistics, light industrial and office assets, from core to value-add in terms of risk profile, as well as development projects to serve Edmond de Rothschild REIM’s discretionary funds and third-party mandates. Bakhuijsen previously worked for six years at Schiphol Real Estate, where he was portfolio manager. Before that, he worked at Redcliffe & Stones, a real estate developer based in Amsterdam, which he founded in 2009.
CBRE – The global real estate advisor has appointed Colin Waddell as managing director of its Nordic region effective 1 March. Waddell was previously managing director of CBRE’s Finland and Norway businesses. In his new role, Waddell will oversee CBRE’s entire Nordic operations which comprise established businesses in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Siri Tulikoura as managing director of CBRE’s Finland business effective 1 March. In addition to her managing director responsibilities, Tulikoura will continue to oversee property management for CBRE in Finland to ensure a smooth transition to her successor, who will be announced in due course. Matthew Featherstone has been appointed executive director in the firm’s debt and structured finance team, led by Paul Coates and part of CBRE Capital Advisors. Featherstone most recently served as managing director for HSBC, and formerly head of real estate for global banking, UK.
Patron Capital – The pan-European institutional investor focused on property-backed investments has appointed Gareth Henry to the newly created role of global head of investor relations. Henry will be primarily responsible for converting new investors and relationships for future funds and products, as well as leading client and investor interaction and reporting. Henry brings nearly 20 years of experience in alternative investment management, most recently at Investcorp in New York. Prior to this, he spent two years as global head of investor relations for Angelo Gordon & Co, and was previously head of investor relations for Fortress Liquid Markets at Fortress Investment Group.
St Modwen – Polly Troughton has been appointed managing director to lead the firm’s logistics business. Troughton will be responsible for the strategic leadership, continued growth and performance of St Modwen Logistics. She was most recently group investment director at Unite Group, where she also sat on the executive committee. Prior to that, Troughton was head of portfolio at Landsec, where she spent eight years working across its retail portfolio.
Scarborough Group International – The UK real estate development and investment company has appointed Nicola Bulley as commercial executive. Bulley will be based at the firm’s Thorpe Park Leeds office and will head up the group’s corporate and commercial projects marketing and PR strategy. Bulley spent the last 13 years at Lambert Smith Hampton where she was national head of marketing and business development. Prior to that she spent seven years working for CBRE in London. In the newly created role, Bulley will take strategic marketing control for the group and all its national commercial projects. She will also support the firm’s overseas ventures and coffee brands Novell and Espuma.
Verdion – the pan-European logistics real specialist has appointed Valerie Setz as asset manager to assist in managing its portfolio of real estate assets. Setz will manage assets across all these territories, excluding the UK. Her role will include working closely with Verdion team members – from incorporating new assets into the firm’s portfolio through acquisition or transition of completed developments; to day-to-day business planning, management and reporting; rent renewals, lease renewals and regears, and overseeing larger projects. Setz joins from VGP where she was a property manager, and prior to that worked for Postcon Service.
Skanska – Paweł Warda has joined Skanska’s commercial development business unit in Central Eastern Europe as executive VP operations in Poland and a new member of the management board. He is responsible for project development operations in Kraków, Katowice, Poznań and Łódź. Before joining Skanska he was head of project management services in Central Eastern Europe and Russia and member of EMEA board of project and development services at JLL. Prior to that, he held several positions in Atkins and Bovis Lend Lease.
Clir Renewables – The provider of performance assessment software for renewable energy has appointed Bronwyn Sutton as offshore Principal. Sutton was formerly director of wind advisory services for Wood Group.
Tattersall Lorenz – Sandra Jäger has been appointed as manager of the Dusseldorf branch of Tattersall Lorenz. She joins Tattersall Lorenz from MVGM Property Management Germany, where she was key account manager and authorised signatory. Her previous positions include working for RGM Gebäudemanagement, Montan Grundstücksgesellschaft and RIAG Gebäudemanagement.
