PatriziaChristoph Glaser has been appointed to the company’s management board to assume the functions of the CFO and to succeed Karim Bohn. In addition, Glaser will assume responsibility for risk management, investor relations, and procurement and services. Glaser was previously the CFO of Home Credit Group, the global consumer finance business of PPF Group. Previously, Glaser held several CFO and other senior management roles at General Electric. Bohn took on the role of CFO at the end of 2015 and has informed the company’s supervisory board that he wished to take on other responsibilities outside the company after six years in this role. Bohn will continue to be available to the company and his successor in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition.

PGGM – The Dutch pensions investor has appointed Irina Frolova interim head of infrastructure as it searches for a replacement for Erik van de Brake who has joined the firm’s asset management arm as chief transformation officer. Frolova is currently head of asset management in PGGM’s infrastructure team. Van de Brake had been  head of infrastructure investments since 2016.

HSBC Asset Management – The investment manager has expanded its alternative investments capability with a new listed infrastructure equity team and launched its first global listed infrastructure equity fund. The team joins from AMP Capital. Team members based in London will be led by Giuseppe Corona as head of listed infrastructure equity. Antonio Barbera and Andy Jones have been named managing principals. Michel Debs joins as principal and Jessica Nguy joins as investment specialist. Team members based in Sydney include Joseph Titmus as managing principal and Xueting Claire Zhang as a senior analyst.

3i GroupPhil White, a managing partner and head of 3i’s infrastructure business has decided to step down from the role with effect from 1 July. White will remain with 3i on a part-time basis, as vice-chair of infrastructure and as a member of the group’s investment committee. Scott Moseley and Bernardo Sottomayor will be appointed managing partners and co-heads of European infrastructure and will join 3i Group’s executive and investment committees, effective 1 July. Moseley joined 3i in 2007 and became a partner in 2012, and is currently co-head of Economic Infrastructure, Europe. Sottomayor joined 3i as a partner in 2015 and alongside Scott is currently co-head of Economic Infrastructure, Europe.

HIG CapitalAntonio Botija and George Watts have joined the investment firm’s senior infrastructure team as managing directors in the London and New York offices respectively. Prior to joining HIG, Botija was head of origination and investments for infrastructure investments at Columbia Threadneedle. Before that, he previously worked at Hastings Funds Management, Infracapital Partners and UBS Investment Bank. Prior to joining HIG, Watts was a managing director at Stonepeak Partners. Before that, Watts worked at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Wyper Capital Management and JP Morgan Investment Bank. 

Trammell Crow Company – The global commercial real estate has appointed Petr Kovařík as country head of logistics for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Kovařík will be responsible for driving growth across the Czech Republic and strategy development, as well as the sourcing, acquisition, and financing of large-scale logistics projects in the region. Kovařík will be based in Prague. He joins TCC from pan-European logistics real estate manager VGP, where he was commercial officer. Prior to this, Kovařík was a broker at pan-European real estate manager and investor DTZ.

JLLAnand Assi and Thomas Noto have joined the firms EMEA industrial and logistics business as business development directors. Assi and Noto will be based in London and Luxembourg respectivel. Assi spent the last 10 years working across Europe. Since 2000 he has also worked as part of Hilary Devey’s Pall-Ex Group. Noto has worked for several top 3PL/4PL organisations and most recently operated his own consultancy advising clients across real estate and supply chain projects. Heidi Schmidtke has been appointed head of operator selection for EMEA hotels and hospitality. Based in Germany, She will lead a dedicated team and establish JLL’s EMEA hotels and hospitality business line as a first mover in the industry to launch an operator selection platform. She holds the position of MD of hotels and hospitality at JLL. During her career, Schmidtke also worked for Art-Invest Real Estate, where she looked after the asset management of the group’s hotel funds and gained extensive expertise in managing mixed-use properties. 

Bouwinvest Real Estate InvestorsJeroen Beimer has been appointed new head of research and strategic advisory. He succeeds Marleen Bosma who recently took up the newly created position of director strategic business development. Beimer has extensive experience in data analytics and research and has been working for Bouwinvest’s research and strategic advisory department since 2017. After starting his career with Global Property Research, he subsequently held positions with Rabo Real Estate Finance, FGH Bank and Bouwfonds. In his new job, Beimer and his department will focus more on data collection, analysis and forecasts.

GecinaFlorence Roussel has joined Gecina as director of YouFirst Campus, with operational responsibility for the portfolio of student residences. As a member of the management committee, she will report to Pierre-Emmanuel Bandioli, executive director residential. She began her career in 1989 with the Unilever Group. She then worked for the American group Hasbro before moving to Disney France as head of its games and toys business. In 2012, she was appointed to lead its consumer products business. In 2014, she joined Disneyland Paris to head up the theme park’s merchandise and retail business unit. In 2019, Roussel set up her own transformation consultancy, supporting a number of SMEs.

Knight Frank – Harriet Hix has joined as senior ESG consultant. Hix joins Knight Frank from AA Projects, where she was an energy and sustainability consultant. Roddy Abram has been appointed head of south-east and Greater London offices as Emma Goodford moves to lead the firm’s life sciences and innovation business. Abram joined Knight Frank in 2004. He will lead a team providing leasing and development, lease advisory and tenant representation advisory services. Will Foster has also been promoted to head of leasing for southeast and Greater London offices. Will has 24 years’ market experience across the South East and a broad range of clients including, M&G, Tritax, L&G, Canmoor and Surrey County Council. 

Vortex Energy – The European renewables-focused investment vehicle has appointed Ana Peris Caminero as its COO and member of the investment committee. Caminero will be responsible for running the operational and asset management practice of Vortex Energy, overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of Vortex’s portfolio companies. Caminero will assist the investment team in sourcing investments opportunities and evaluating related technical and operational aspects. Caminero joins the business with over 20 years of experience in the renewables, power and gas utility sectors. She was most recently at Spain’s Naturgy since 2009, where she held senior positions across business and strategy development as well as overlooked the company’s entry into the US through the acquisition of solar and storage development platforms. 

The UK Apartment Association – The membership organisation for the UK build-to-rent sector has appointed Jason Hardman as chair of its investor lender forum. Hardman is executive director of valuation and advisory services at CBRE.

IMMO Capital – The residential investment platform has appointed a new director to support the business’s continued growth. Anna Clare Harper will support co-founder and CIO Samantha Kempe in developing IMMO’s sustainable investment products and driving the company’s UK expansion. Harper started her career in mergers and acquisitions at Deloitte, before co-founding her own boutique investment firms focused on the UK’s private rented sector.
