DigitalBridge – The global digital infrastructure REIT has appointed Jonathan S Adelstein as managing director and head of global policy and public investment. Adelstein will join DigitalBridge on a full-time basis beginning 1 June 2022. In his new role, Adelstein will provide strategic insights into digital infrastructure policy on a global basis, advise DigitalBridge on opportunities and risks across its portfolio of companies, support the firm’s investment evaluation and diligence processes, and represent its interests before policymakers. Adelstein joins DigitalBridge from the Wireless Infrastructure Association where he has served as the president and CEO since 2012. Prior to his role at Wireless Infrastructure, Adelstein served as commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission from 2002 to 2009.
CBRE – Luke Moffat has been appointed regional managing director, head of advisory and transaction services in Asia Pacific. Moffat succeeds Manish Kashyap, who has taken on a senior leadership role in the company as global president, advisory and transaction services. Moffat will oversee a team of more than 2,000 professionals across 15 markets and commercial real estate sectors including office, retail, industrial and logistics, supply chain, data centres, workplace strategy and consulting. Moffat was most recently CBRE’s regional managing director, eastern China and head of advisory and transaction services, Greater China, and will be relocating from Shanghai to Singapore. Prior to joining CBRE, he was a director at BlackRock in Singapore.
Sonar Real Estate – Christina Diehl has joined the property manager’s Frankfurt team as asset management director. Diehl joins Sonar Real Estate from Curzon Advisers, where she was asset management director in Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Luxembourg. Earlier in her career, she worked for GE Capital Real Estate, Imoplan Immobilien- Verwaltungsgesellschaft and CRE Resolution.
M&G Real Estate – Teresa Cheng has joined the manager’s residential team as investment manager. Cheng joins M&G from Savills corporate finance team. In previous roles she covered co-living investment and asset management in the UK, and financial advisory and private equity in China. In her new role Cheng will be focused on the student accommodation, BTR and senior living sectors in the UK.
Savills Investment Management – The international real estate investment manager has appointed Adam Alari as head of European living research. Based in London, he will report to Andrew Allen, global head of research, product strategy and development. He joins from insurer AXA, where most recently he covered global living research and strategy and helped to launch its open-ended European residential fund. Prior to AXA, he was an analyst at M&G covering a range of sectors as well as working on their flagship UK open-ended commercial property fund.
Bouwinvest Real Estate Investors – Marleen Bosma has been appointed director of strategic business development to help further drive the company’s transition to a client-oriented organisation. She will report to chief client officer Mark Siezen. She joined Bouwinvest in 2016 as head of research and strategic advisory. Prior to this role, she was responsible for international property investments and strategic client advisory at Blue Sky Group. Her career includes research, portfolio management and client relation roles at FGH Bank, Philips’ pension fund and Syntrus Achmea Real Estate. She has also served on several investor boards such as the accountability body of pension fund PPF APG.
Redevco – Vincent Bacas has joined the real estate investment manager’s team in the Netherlands as portfolio director. He will be reporting to recently appointed co-head client and fund management Thierry Cahierre, who is also responsible for Redevco’s global asset and development management function. Before joining Redevco Bacas was both chief commercial officer and CEO at a family-owned group of companies mainly active in the broad area of the built environment, where he started in 2007.
Kingstone Real Estate – Agnieszka Niezgodzka has joined the firm’s team in Warsaw, Poland as senior portfolio manager. Niezgodzka joins from P3 Logistic Parks, where she served as group head of portfolio analysts. Prior to this, she worked at Multi Poland, Heitman Financial and Ernst & Young.
Homesearch – The property data and estate agent prospecting platform has appointed Nikki Anderson as chief marketing officer to lead its marketing strategy and help agents communicate the benefits of its platform to their clients. Anderson’s core strategic focus will be on building the brand and increasing estate agents’ understanding of the transformative effect the Homesearch platform has when they’re dealing with homebuyers and sellers. She joins having previously held the position of client services director at Open Agency where she worked on an extensive portfolio of property clients.
VTS – The commercial real estate industry’s leasing, marketing, and asset management technology platform has expanded its UK team with nine new appointments. John Campbell has been named senior director and market activation manager. Campbell joins VTS from WeWork where he was head of global referrals. VTS has appointed Manisha Patel as senior implementation manager, Adeola Fari-Arole as implementation manager and Will Curtis as content coordinator for the product. The other appointments include Rob Cruess Callaghan and Chris Hill as client advisors, John Milner as integrations & API support advisor, Sean-Chance Singleton as implementation manager EMEA and Rachael Bowles as office manager.
